I got the OLED Switch as an upgrade from my Switch Lite, and overall I'm really impressed with the display. Even though it's a 720p display, the text and colors are clear as day, and you would think it's running at 1080p. My only complaint is that I notice more lag/frame dropping on this Switch than my Switch Lite, probably due to the more demanding display. I also wish that it supported 4K when docked, but it is limited to 1080p 60fps. The joystick on the left joycon is also a tad broken – the down position requires a bit of force to reach its full range of motion. It also makes a clicking sound, which is not present on any of my other joycons, which is unfortunate as Nintendo does not sell the white joycons on their own.

Gave it to my brother in law for his 12th birthday and he loved it so much and started playing with it right away

Big enough for kids and it's display is bigger than the older. It plays the same obviously but the OLED screen and battery is worth it

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. The bigger screen makes it so much easier and it has a bigger kickstand than her last one.

I've been playing this for about a month now and must say that it a slight improvement over the previous model Switch. The better screen is great for handheld, especially if it is being used with the stand and a pro controller. The stand is MUCH better than the original Switch. The old switch had the little stand on one side where this one is nearly the width of the whole unit. I've done some long play sessions on it without it getting too hot or lagging. It's definitely a good improvement over the older Switch I have.

You get everything that makes the Switch great, along with the new and very improved kickstand, additional internal storage, and of course -- the new beautiful OLED display. I personally love OLED screens, and this one passes the test. It is a substantial upgrade from the older LED screen that didn't quite have as much brightness or contrast as we wanted. Ease of access is hindered for people upgrading from an older Switch in my opinion. The data migration process for taking data from an older Switch is an absolutely convoluted mess that doesn't need to be nearly as complicated as they make it. Even if you put everything on your SD card and swap it to your new Switch, it isn't that easy. Prepare to redownload ALL of your games. Also, for use in Animal Crossing, be very careful and follow the precise directions that involve downloading the Island Transfer Tool from the Nintendo digital store.

I’ve owned it for a while. The screen is nice. Has a good amount of glare tho. Everything looks like it’s soft and has good lines. Very vibrant

I love my switch. I was using the smaller lite version and wanted to upgrade to something that could connect to my tv or desktop and this was the perfect option. Quality is very nice and the details with gameplay are amazing!

Such a wonderful console. The beauty of the switch is games on it look great despite running at 720p in handheld mode. Having an oled screen really brings out the best in nintendo’s animation style. This isn’t a must have but it is fantastic. if you already have a switch, this isn’t a successor and if you plan on only playing in TV mode, I’d say get the normal one and use an $10 Ethernet adapter if you need.

This thing brought a part of my childhood back. I had been debating for a couple years weather or not I should get one and I finally did. Im very pleased with it. It has decent battery life and the rest of my family loves it too. Paired it up with the nintendo online + expansion and ive been able to play several of the older games i played as a kid. I highly reccomend the switch for anyone of every age its been a blast.

It's a great upgrade if you own an original Switch from 2017-2018. I sold my original Switch for more than the original value since it was a HAC-001 moddable unit and bought this one. Kind of puts the Switch Lite in an awkward position considered this was designed with more of an emphasis in handheld with the screen. Nonetheless with the combination of the double battery life, beautiful screen, and wired dock, you're getting the best model right now. It is worth the extra $50 if you're a first time buyer.

Nintendo Switch OLED model is an excellent upgrade for anyone looking for a better gaming experience on the Switch. The new OLED screen, improved audio, and redesigned kickstand make it a worthwhile investment for both new and existing Switch owners. However, if you already own a Switch and are happy with its performance, the OLED model may not be necessary, as the performance improvements are minimal.

I absolutely love my switch. It’s so convenient and can be used so many ways. I love playing it handheld and then being able to play with family and friends on a big screen. The colors and images are perfect. I recommend a switch to anyone who doesn’t have one!

So much better than a regular switch. And although the switch 2 is out, this one might be better. The stand is durable and it still uses the classic joycon design. It’s great for the person who wants a classic switch and wants and better screen

Love the new oled screen. In my opinion it’s best to just save a few more dollars for the better graphics on the oled compared to the regular one. But the both have mainly the same functions all your paying for is a slightly bigger screen on the oled and a brighter more lively looking screen on the oled.

This is indeed a major improvement over the earlier released Nintendo switch. The display is crisp as advertised and asides the subtle changes i.e. the stand at the back and thinner bezel, there really isn't much difference from the standard Nintendo switch (except of course the white color variant). Other than that, I think if you had the opportunity, stick with the standard version and save yourself an extra $50 or whatever that price difference is.

This is a must have if you have kids, travel a lot, or you’re just a gamer. It’s simple to use and a great way to have fun. I’ve had it for a few months now and I always take it everywhere I go. It’s a blast especially with your friends. You do have to buy a SD card for extra storage if you download more than 3 games.

Game nights are so much fun now that we purchased our Nintendo. Totally recommend .
