A lot of people bash the Switch because it hasn't been replaced by a newer model yet in its 5 years, but I don't care about that. I really like the versatility, being able to convert from handheld to tabletop to stationary console. I went with Switch because it seems to be the most retro game-friendly console out there. There is a very healthy respect for classic video games and their characters, and I appreciate that. Lots of relatively simple games that appeal to us middle-aged old-school gamers. Back in the day, I hated Nintendo because they muscled in to Atari's territory and took it over. Never thought back then that I'd be proud to say that I own one today BECAUSE they have no problems acknowledging that Atari paved the way for them in video games. Life is funny sometimes...

I've had it for a week and the joycon is already drifting. I'm really disappointed and thought the OLED ones would be better quality. I've run thr calibration and updated rhe joycons. Tempted to return it since handheld mode is already frustrating and that's why i bought it. We have the original switch and i have sent all the joycons in twice now to nintendo. They still drift. I can't tell much of a difference between the two screens in hand held mode. Plugging in the internet into the dock with the device didn't noticeably change download times or online play (maybe there's a setting I'm missing?)

Great display color. Weird how the bezel being tweaked makes the device feel bigger.

The screen is much better than the older one. But the quality of it is little lower than I thought. The right controller slider isn’t smooth, it doesn’t fit well. Hope they can do some upgrades on gpu.

Great entry in video games for kids. My daughter loved opening this.

It doesn't seem much of an upgrade but it is. It is a lot more fulfilling display screen. A+
