I originally bought the switch lite but quickly realized I needed a bigger console and also the ability to share with family. I haven’t regretted the purchase of the Switch. Games are abundant for the console (there is something for everyone’s taste). It’s easy to travel with. I have no problem packing it into a small bag. Tv hook up is done in 1 minute. You really can’t go wrong with the purchase of one.

Love love love this gaming console . I love that it can be played portable or on the TV . Tons of games unlike the Wii U that was a disappointment.

I wasn't going to purchase the switch at first. But after seeing Zelda in action, I couldn't resist. The screen has great viewing angles, color reproduction and is bright enough to use in sunlight. Battery life is good, on par with a 3ds pretty much which is saying something considering the screen size. Sound quality from the speakers is decent but a little hollow. The joycons controllers have amazing battery life. Rated for 40 hours of play time and I believe it. The rumble function of the controllers is nice and adds a bit more depth to games than a PS4 or Xbox one controller with a higher range of sensitivity. The dock is a little disappointing considering its a cheap piece of plastic with not so well bolstered inner rubber. I think Nintendo could've done better with that. I am a little worried about future AAA game releases in that Zelda shows noticable framerate dropage when using a tv. It doesn't speak well to the future of graphics progression and optimization. Although if Nintendo continues with their strengths which is their first party library and not try and compete on the same level as the PS4 or Xbox with 3rd party games. Then there will be plenty of great games to play on the switch. And you can play them on the go. Which is more than you can say for Xbox or Playstation.

What a great system to play at home or on the go. It's awesome hooking it up to the television and play multiple player games on one tv.

It's going to cost like $30 more just to get started on playing, if you don't already have a Nintendo eShop account. There are free download games. My kids like it so far. Good present and I like that it has Parental Control.

This system is going to be a massive success. I fully believe this after a couple weeks of owning this console. Mobility isn't a gimmick. You can't look at it's hybrid form and say it's just another Nintendo experiment that will fail. This is not motion controls or a screen on a controller. The Switch is the first true laptop of gaming consoles and it will follow the trends of every other industries whenever mobile products are added to the fold. The Switch will sell tremendously. The UI is fantastic and simple. Snappy sounds and quick from anywhere to get back into games. It's all you ask for with a gaming console and a much needed misdirection compared to something like an Xbox that has tried to do too much. That said, there will need to be some needed updated to the interface down the road as game libraries become expanded on your menu screen and the eshop. Scrolling through dozens of games will become a nuisance down the road if something isn't adjusted. The Joy Con are unique. They will seem a bit funky at first. They might not be the best with comfort when used on the grip or separate off handheld, but they aren't terrible. They do get the job done. When connected in handheld mode, any concerns melt away. It feels great in the hands like this. More grip than I expected. Buttons are crisp. The sticks feel limited at first but you quickly acclimate. There's simply no better option for gaming when on the go in this setup. I've had no problems with any of the issues that have been overhyped online. I'm sure there has been a small batch of bad hardware (like every other console release), but the majority seems to be flawless. I'd recommend buying now. It's worth it. Find out how it fits within your own schedule. See how you play in social settings with friends and family. Learn to love it now before the craze really sets in later this year and into 2018.

Considering how much more powerful the PS4 is, I'm amazed that this console still costs more than a PS4, even through black friday this year. It just goes to show how important good games are though. Honestly, the Switch has some of the best games around, especially when you're looking at family games. It might seem a bit pricey, especially considering how outdated the hardware is now, but it's totally worth it. You get an incredible amount of replay value out of the games. I can't recommend this console enough.

I bought the Nintendo Switch specifically for Mario and I haven't stopped playing since. I have only played Mario, using the TV mode, so that's all I can review but I love the console and the game. Have had no problems. Best console/game combo since Mario64!

I have bought previous Nintendo products but none of them have been quite as impressive as the Nintendo switch. Giving the ability to go mobile, and on the go but at the same time being a home console really makes this product stand out. I take this on the go and a great companion for flights. Not only that but this console has amazing exclusives such as Mario odyssey, Breath of the wild, and Mario Kart. Also 3rd party developers have been having a good time porting it to the switch such as Doom and Skyrim and hope for more games to come out. So far I am in love with my product.

I love this Nintendo switch. I played lots of games on it without having a problem. After a few months of owning it, I gave it to my brother because I bought the OLED version. It does not mean I didn't like it but I have been attracted to the OLED version. Still, this older version of switch is a great one if you are not after of the OLED display. I still highly recommend it.

Cannot recommend this enough. Nintendo really hit it out of the park with the design on this. It's powerful enough to play almost any game, and portable enough to take with you everywhere. I've bought plenty of games on Steam that I never really played b/c I couldn't find the time to sit down and play them at my desk. With the Switch, I've rebought many of those just b/c I can now play them on the bus, airplane, at my parent's house, on vacation, in bed, etc. I'm playing more games than ever and loving it. And the exclusives are the best they've ever been.

Everything that I read regarding OLED was true. I literally watch 4K 60fps YouTube videos for hours, the picture on this thing is beautiful. The sound on it is impressive as well. Dolby Atmos doesn’t disappoint.

I was considering for a while whether or not to buy the Nintendo Switch because most popular games are not available on Nintendo consoles. After trying Zelda and Mario Kart for a bit, I was convinced I would be hooked for many hours. The console is extremely well built and resistant. It’s easy to fit in small bags and bigger pockets by simply removing the remotes and carrying it separately. If I was to complain about anything it would be about the lack of a more sturdy built-in stand and need for more adult games. Not just the family friendly stuff Nintendo is known for.
