I have thoroughly enjoyed my Switch experience so far. I've experienced no left joy-con sync issues or wifi issues. If you're a Nintendo fan, you'll likely be satisfied whether it's now or later on when more games come out. As a piece of hardware, it's very cool but it has issues. First, it is missing some key features that really should be here. Things like Netflix, party chat, virtual console, etc...are all absent for now. They are coming, and that's important but they are not here yet. Maybe once they are here, it will deserve 5 stars but as it stands, 4 stars is sufficient. Second, the battery life on the Switch isn't great. That's really only an issue with portable play, but with a console that's using portability as a selling point, this is important. There are steps you can take to help the battery but the reports you've heard so far of 2.5-5 hours are pretty accurate. I do still recommend the console but that's mostly to do with the games it offers. Zelda, Bomberman, Snipperclips, are all really fun and that's the key word, fun. The Switch is fun and if you like that, pick it up.

I am a Nintendo lover, and will only buy Nintendo(I will never own any Sony product, and Xbox is just too much... I like the classic games. Nintendo owns everything that sony and xbox does not. Incuding Atari, nameco, all sega products ect...) I like the ability to play on go, keeps the kids occupied. Not good to use on road, as my son has gotten motion sickness, and I have as well. Seems wierd but true. Awesome product. Would buy it again. Cartridges are very small. Buy a case/holder.

The system is very versatile. I like the fact it is portable and convenient and easy to use. The battery lasts longer than other systems.

When the Switch was first announced it sounded gimmicky...it wasn't until I read the reviews and tried it for myself that I saw how it succeeded in combining the fun and innovative elements of the Wii with the flexibility of a portable handheld that was powerful enough to maintain the same high quality experience on the big screen as the time you spend lounging on the side. I have a PS4 for the immersive graphics and hardcore gameplay, but when simple addictive gaming is the goal, Switch scratches the itch.

I bought this system for one reason, and one reason alone, which was: “Super Mario Odyssey”; and I have yet to regret that decision to this day. It’s a wonderful console and simply a joy to turn on. I also love its ability to become handheld at any given second. I haven’t had the opportunity to play it that way for any significant length of time, but I certainly look forward to when I do. It would be the perfect companion on a long car ride; especially with the awesome graphics and long battery life.

The battery life has improved tremendously. The console is portable, and the joycons can be attached to the Switch or put in the holder.

My girlfriend loved it but the charge port broke after a month of entirely normal use. Her last one kept going for about two years though so it was just bad luck. Best buy is repairing it for free with the warranty.

I love this console. It’s my first game console since Nintendo 64, so I was a little hesitant as to whether I would love another gaming console as I did the 64. My fears were quieted instantly. The practicality of having this console connect to the tv screen or take it on the go is priceless. Of course the first game I bought with it was Mario 3D All Stars. There hasn’t been a day I haven’t played since getting it.

The Nintendo switch is the best system since the Nintendo 64. Portable, amazing games that are available only for Nintendo. :-)

We brought the Nintendo Switch for our seven year old son and he loves it. Its good for road trips and it has a lot of games.

This is my second switch so I'm not really reviewing the switch as much as I'm reviewing Best Buy for having them available. Buying online and picking up in store was a breeze.

Amazing portable gaming unit, combines the best of a portable gaming unit with the best of a home gaming unit. Excellent quality.

I love my switch I waited for it for a while till I finall saw one on shelves, my only complaint I’ve got at this point is that I hope Nintendo puts out and xl version sooner because he joy cons are a bit small for my hands

This system is perfect for traveling the road with my kids. Perfect for carrying to the grandparents house too.

Everything has been great. I only wish the switch would stick out of the consol a little higher. I’m always afraid I will drop it because I have to take it out with my fingertips

As someone who has owned every Nintendo product, this is by far my favorite. The portability of this system is amazing. How I can be in my car, playing Zelda, and then go home to finish the game, while having the same game playing experiance is incredible. Also, if I want to take the whole system to a friends house without much hassle or packing is wonderful too. It also helps that 2 'Games of the Year' were released in the same launch year to show off the systems bells and whistles, helps as well Love it.
