If someone is considering purchasing, know that games do require different types of controllers, so research the game requirements or you may need more hardware. While I thought the two left and right joy-cons would run split screen Minecraft, I ended up needing to purchase another controller because Minecraft needs a full controller. A wired full buttons controller did the trick for under $25.
