The Future of Gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think we've all come across a time, playing with a portable gaming console, where we wanted to play Nintendo, Xbox, or PS games on a bigger screen with a better graphics card. Imagine playing Wind Waker or Twilight Princess on the go. Wonder no more! The Switch, so far, is the best blend of portable and home gaming to date. Where else can you play a full-size game like Breath of the Wild on the go? The Joy-Cons are probably the best iteration of motion controls and wireless controls yet, the motions and actions being very natural when they're off of the console. Having the ability to place them into a typical controller dock is also a very nice transition. I think my biggest gripe is some games don't play well when the Joy-Cons are docked, but that might be just from the game's locked-in control schemes (YMMV). Definitely a step in the right direction from the Wii.
