Purchased as a Christmas preset for my eight yr old son. Big hit due to portability, able to take the game play to a friends house, in th car for road trips.

Amazing counsel just waiting for the bulk of the games to come out such as super smash and more exclusives. But for what there is right now its amazing.

My kids have been asking for this as their present since summer. They are not into console games, but they like this game for some reason.

Great Nintendo console. The only negative worth mentioning because it’s good to know going in, is that the joycon controllers are notorious about developing a drift in the movement sticks over time. My son has had this happen twice on his switch now and the replacement controllers are not cheap. That being said, the Switch is a must have console and is the best way to play all the classic Nintendo franchises. For 3rd party games, stick to PC, Xbox, or PlayStation.

I bought this instead of a PS4. I love that I can connect it to my tv or take it with me where ever I go. Fun and Easy to use!

After many great reviews I finally budged and purchased. Love the fact I can take it anywhere and play. really fun to play at home with the family.

I got the gray unit, the neon editions are hard to come by but it doesn't matter it's what's inside that counts (-;. I've played some games on it before, I'm so happy you can detach the controllers from the sides and play multiplayer games. I think it's my favorite Nintendo console second to the Gameboy advance SP. Now as for my cons- Build quality should be better -the screen itself is made of plastic and not guerilla glass you'd expect from modern electronics, so get a tempered glass screen protector ASAP. the hinges that the joycons side into the tablet segment of the switch seem to not hold the joycons as snug as I'd like. The back of the tablet is painted and could be prone to scratches, I've read certain sticker skins also scuff the paint. WiFi isn't that great. The dock itself gets pretty hot when the switch is mounted. I suggest some airflow directed to the unit. Overall I had to have a switch even with it's shortcomings. Nintendo never disappoints with games, but if you can wait a year they'll undoubtedly release a revised switch unit with all the above cons remedied! Buy one if you're planning on getting damage protection for it. But as far as a console for children beware of potential dings you could find yourself with.

Bought this for our 11 year old and its perfect. She can play on the tv in the living room but easily take it to another room if we want the tv.

You can’t go wrong with this unit as a Christmas or birthday present, kids and adults will have a blast specially when connected to a big screen tv.

The item is very easy to navigate. My son loves the fact that he can take it or hook it up to the TV. He also likes that he can play with his cousin

This is a great console. If you are wanting a console to play on multiple platforms this is the way to go. You have the selection of great titles to play.

Great handheld game. Used this on a long flight and it really helped to pass the time. Easy to maneuver, compact to fit in my backpack.
