This game console works fantastic! The best thing to do is join the Nintendo switch club so you pay a small fee every month to play all the old games from the MARIO games and more! And you can play all you want and save your games! Definitely buy this!! You will not regret it!

Fun and innovative. This is the successor to the Wii we wanted the first time around. I have three games so far and they are all fun and portable! Also, the best priced system out there.

I've enjoyed my time with the Switch so far, about a month or so. If you can wait, I would suggest doing so, since there isn't any major reason to own this yet - I personally find Breath of the Wild to be a bit underwhelming, weird, I know! But I love having a portable system with quality games I can take on the go, specifically Mario Kart 8 and Binding of Isaac, both of which are ports, which makes me very excited when more original content appears in the future!

This is likely the last Nintendo console that the late president Iwata had a strong influence on, and it seems to be the arrow they are choosing to put all their weight behind. A fascinating design that takes the best in portable DNA (sleep mode, fast saves) and injects it into the console market — it could be just what the tired form factor needed. Already I appreciate the flexibility of being able to switch between TV mode and portable mode. The transition is not as seamless as I imagined, as it takes care and attention to swap out the Joy-Cons. At launch there is almost no games library to speak of, but Breath of the Wild (which has a legitimate shot at Game of the Decade) singlehandedly justifies the first wave of adoption. And Snipperclips is pure crowd-pleasing fun.
