Works wonderfully. My 81-year-old mother rarely puts down her switches. She uses it at the dinner table, while talking to doctors, etc. you cannot pry it out of her hand. The AnimAl Crossomg game are her friends and she must do what they say. It has transformed her.

have had it since Christmas 2017. graphics are outstanding, which makes gameplay even that much more enjoyable.. especially on an ultra 4k large screen. I am definitely loving the different modes of play and flexibility. Overall it's a great system, child friendly and easy to operate. take it from an old school gamer who's been playing since the first NES.

love pretty much everything about this only thing bad is i wish it came with a game like back in the older days.

So great to have been able to get this for the holidays can't wait to see my kid face when they open it.

For 300 I expect a little more. I think the screen quality is to low. Everything else is great. Great product for adults or kids above 10 with a sense of responsibility. Cause the screen scratches very easily. If you use the dock make sure you use a screen protector as it will scratch the screen. But best Nintendo to date imo.

Playing the Legend of Zelda: BOTW was a breath of fresh air. It was, in fact, the reason I purchased the console. However, after finishing the game, I was disappointed while I browsed the Nintendo Store for other AAA titles. Besides TESV: Skyrim and Doom, there really wasn't much offered. Personally, I had hoped there would be "classic games" from each of Nintendo's predecessor systems, but alas, nothing in sight for American customers. I returned the system shortly thereafter. I would definitely have kept it if there were better titles. Finally, the battery life was abysmal, even on low brightness. I could barely get 3.5 hours of gameplay before the system died. I recommend highly for anyone who has young children or travels frequently, but not for players looking for AAA titles or classic Nintendo backward compatibility. I was sad to see it returned, but glad to have played the new Zelda.

This console is a lot of fun. My son and wife love the new Mario and Zelda. My son states that the console is leagues ahead of our old Wii U.

The Switch is a great system with a surprisingly long battery life considering how awful the Wii U was in terms of the battery. While the joy cons are pretty sophisticated and have impressive capabilities, they are seriously lacking. They aren't at all ergonomic, they're slippery, and they are too small, even for smaller hands. I have pain and nerve issues so everything tends to cause problems after a little bit of use but the joy cons made my hands go numb after less than 5 minutes and so severely that I couldn't play. A pro controller is the way to go to overcome these issues. I can use it for a lot longer. Also, a grip is a must for the joy cons! It helps a lot.

This system it best used for a busy person on the go.

My kids love this new game console. It is great for traveling, playing individually or connecting and playing with others on a big screen TV.

This system is great. Love the ability to take it out of cradle and play on the go. 7 year old son loves it. Parental controls are great too.

The Switch is a very versatile console that you can play either at home or on the go. It is durable and can easily survive drops with only nicks that don't affect performance at all. Some criticisms I have is the lack of a proper d-pad on the joycons, which you would want for 2D platformers and fighting games. The battery life also isn't the greatest, either. The console isn't as powerful as even the base PS4 or Xbox One (it is a tablet like device after all), and the only way to back up save games is to shelve out money for the Nintendo Online service for cloud saving. Despite my complaints, I do adore the Switch and the library it has. It is a great console whether you're at home or on the go.
