I got it mainly for handheld but it's nice to have the option of putting it on the tv to play with family and friends (would be wise to get screen protectors so the dock doesn't scratch the screen). For it to be more comfortable in the hands I wud definitely recommend buying a case for it.

I like that we can just buy a card for whatever amount I want and he can download the game instead of having to insert a disk or cartridge. With his birthday money he was able to download more games. He can also put in into the PlayStation 4 and play. My boys really enjoy this device.
