Picture quality very good. Good picture size for on the go. The remote control needed to be higher on the screen in case you are watching from your lap since the signal is towards the bottom underneath of the player. Construction looks and acts very flimsy. it is a hard click when opening and closing the disc. Very good price if it's a Deal of the day item

Got this for my 6year old for a roadtrip. It was exactly what we needed. Screen was big so she didnt have to strain to see the movie. Lightweight so it didnt bother her being on her lap. Overall would recommend.

The unit is simple, easily operating & very reasonably priced. It was perfect for what we needed it for. ( DVD instructions for musical instruments & painting)...works fine...

I purchased this item 3 times before I got one that didn’t have any issues. Make sure to check player right away for issues, especially with Best Buy’s 14 day return policy. Good sale price for a portable DVD player with a good size screen for the kids.

i like this dvd player. gives me something to do during the stay at home. its easy to operate and the 13 inch screen is easy to see.

I'm happy with the screen size. I'd use the headphones because the sound is much better than the speakers.

I ordered this as a Christmas present. The recipient said that the picture and sound were clear. However, it would only play for a few seconds at a time. He thinks the DVD door is warped and will not keep the little button pushed down. He has since returned it and ordered a replacement. We will see if the new one works any better.

So far, so good. The player seems to be well made. The picture is excellent, audio is okay at best. Headphones or external speaker may be needed. We will be using this on camping trips with grandchild. He figured it out quickly, not surprising. I am writing this the day I purchased the player. If I encounter anything in the future, I will let you know, if modifications to review are possible. The main reason for the four star instead of five star is the audio quality.

Great quality pictures and good sound for a dvd playet

I needed something for a mini vacation and my 7" portable is too small for several people to sit around and watch. The screen size is good. Two things keep it from a 5 star rating. #1 the screen brightness depends on how you view it, and from which angle. So head on watching it best. #2 this is a simple dvd player, it will play dvds either store bought or homemade, and will play Cds & mp3 audio and display jpeg pictures, but it won't play videos made with a cellphone or from a computer, so no MPG4 on a flashdrive.

Good picture size. Fast and easy set up. Very portable in a brief case. Don't leave the entertainment convenience at home on vacations. We had eleven days of vacation with our own movies on demand.

This is an update model. So much better!! Buttons are less fragile than the old version. Easy to press buttons. Picture is clear. Great screen size.

This item was very good and I was happy to get it. Even though I had to exchange it the first one was broken but was glad I got it. We used it on our family get away and was a hit with the kids to see their kids movies and I was able to enjoy a movie.

Sometimes the player will just stop playing the DVD and say OPEN when it's not.?
