I haven't used it yet; so, I cannot rate it. However, I will assume it will work quite well.

This is perfect for the little ones on road trips,camping,hunting etc.... works well for what it is this day in tech. But it really is a joy to have in places w/out !

This was purchased as a Christmas gift and I do not know if it has been used at this point. It was recommended by a family member.

This DVD player is easy enough for a child to use.

Does a good job in playing DVDs. However, the sound is noisy when playing a DVD. I know, first world problems. But something to consider before purchase.

this product is very nice but does not have hdmi hookup to plug in things so didn;t work great for us

There is apparently no AV output option for this device. There is an aux port LABELED "AV output," but no cable combination we tried could achieve output of audio OR visual to our TV. I wrote the manufacturer multiple emails simply asking them to point me toward a compatible cable. The "same rep" would respond insisting that someone would call me - it has been 17 days with no reply to this very basic question. I am disgusted with Sylvania's poor product and utter lack of customer service. If you intend to use entirely as a contained unit, it has been functional enough, but personally I've concluded that this company does not value its customers and I will not be supporting them through any future purchases.

one pixel is always green and I looked up portable dvd players made in the usa, I got this one but the box says made in china

I only had this 13 inch Sylvania DVD player for two and a half weeks and it stopped working when I took it into Best Buy to get it repaired I was very disappointed to hear that they do not repair those they don't send that type out anymore and they don't have any more in stock

Not bad. Audio is a little low for an older father with compromised hearing.

It fails to play most DVD formats by today's standards. It will not play most Disney DVD's, all Blu-Ray discs and all UHD discs. This player only plays standard discs. Low resolution. Minimal technology. A great value if you just want basics and the ability to play discs from years ago. Also very heavy.

sound quality, certainly NOT stereo. you have to sit close to hear it. Put in a new DVD and even with adjustments it looked hazy is how I would describe it. Changed stetting every which way, brightness, sharpness. Its for my disabled son with vision and hearing problems and thought the larger screen would be great for him. Considering returning.

Somewhat difficult to understand all the directions

I bought it so my wife could watch all her old Axel Rose & metal dvd’s. It very easy to use but the video quality isn’t what I was looking for.

The only thing that kept me from giving five stars is that it doesn't play blu-ray disc.

We bought this but had to return it. The DVD player was huge and my kids didn’t like how big it was on their little laps.

the first unit we received when ordered on line was broken, it was a birthday gift, this put a damper on the day, i had to drive 20 miles to return it and buy another one. second one seems to ok at time.
