Quality control needs improving

Sylvania dvd defect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.What seemed like a good deal and simple to operate, I found this product not so simple, I was trying to navigate to simplify for an elderly person. Then come to find out the door would not fully shut down to play video, we found this out by holding it down slightly and the movie came on. I will shop a different style and brand.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got one from the store and it didn't power up and I returned it, then I ordered one from the BB website to be deliver and it powered up, started to play the DVD and it froze, I took the DVD out, put it again and I got "No DVD' message. Tried 4 other DVDs and keep getting the "No DVD". I turned off and tried again and still didn't work. This one is going back too and I giving up on the idea of a portable DVD player, I'll use my laptop.

Disappointed

I don't have a TV in the bedroom, so wanted to watch when I go to bed. Anyway, I got it home and set up. The minute I took it out of the box just feels cheaply made. Buttons are hard to push, the picture was not crisp at all. Was very disappointed, was told by sales rep it was the best. I wouldn't waste my money on this particular one.

Poor picture quality
