have not been able to activate
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the $50 sim kit. paper instructions point customer to www.t-mobile.com/prepaid50 which is a dead link. Talking to a cSR I was told the 11 digit code printed in the insert is not a valid activation code and that it should be a 9 digit code. She told me 'to look for the activation code'. HUH? the only codes I had already given her. She is supposed to call me back but it is starting to look like I spent $40 on a SIM/plan that the plan is bad and all they could tell me was 'to keep looking for the code' like it is going to magically appear on the paperwork. I had purchased this to assess if coverage and speed was sufficient where I am at. So far it is a big fail and I'm disappointed that Best Buy has these on the racks that wont activate.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Basically, if you don't activate it properly, or use the correct browser, T-mobile's crappy back end system will FORCE you to wait some amount of time. Even the outsourced customer service has no idea what to do. T-Mobile is headquartered in one of the biggest tech centers in the world, yet they defecate half coded pieces of junk like this. thanks, John Legere.
