Volume, power and camera all centrally located on back of phone. Touch screen doesn't always operate properly. Very frustrating, especially for a new smart phone user.

Great buy for lg fans

Sure other reviewers will great this phone a bad rap but then again they are comparing it to LG's flagship phones which costs around $500+ against a sub-$100 phone. That said it has some drawbacks which are actually wish lists like it has only 8GB on board memory, has a non retina-class or similar display (but bright, sharp and detailed display for its size), has only a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi connection speed and has no NFC. If you are looking for these features, look for another phone. And lastly for selfie-aficionados out there, the hand gestures and voice command for the front camera are awesome. I can't think of another phone right now that can beat this at its current price.

Pros - Fast, light, good screen. Buttons on back make it easier to hold. Cons - 8GB memory is less than optimal, but expected at this price

This phone with low price only $80 plus tax is quite better than the one I ordered about $160 in T mobile website two years ago, 1. I like it 8 GB internal storage more than my old one LG L9 p769 which is only 4GB storage. Because the T mobile pre-installed apps are unable to be deleted. Even now the 8GB phone, only 2 GB free space available for use, after I install the same minimum amount of apps as the old one. 2. I found the appearance looks like my family's other phone cost $600. since some previous review from someone else mentioned, I decide to try. 3. Also some review said just insert the in-use T mobile sim, it doesn't have to use the prepaid account, but when I want to put the old micro sim from that old phone into this new one, I realized the new phone only accept nano sim, then I check on line and found only middle small part containing chip is useful in sim card, so I bravely cut & converted the micro sim to nano sim. It worked making some sense of success. I didn't activate the prepaid sim. Hope this help.

    A Great Buy

In the age of the 600+ plus smartphone, it feels like you have to sign your soul over to make a phone call. I don't care about status or excessive features, because I typically use my phone to text, make a call, check email and facebook, and sometimes take a picture. With this phone you get more than what you pay for-- it looks beautiful, works quickly and smoothly, and has a few fun touches on top of it. Great call quality and battery life, love the customization options. The camera doesn't compare to the one you'll get in a flagship phone, but it does the job for a few snapshots out and about. I'll note that the first phone I received had a number of glitches, including a flickering screen and the "knock on" feature didn't work. The second is perfect, though. You can't ask for more for the money.
