Media is horrible...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned this phone twice because I either couldn't get/send pictures via text message, and/or the music player kept cutting off. I downloaded apps to play music and even tried Pandora and the same thing happened. Five sec into the song it cut off. I got tired of clearing caches and restarting so I returned it and I'm looking for another phone. Such a shame because everything else about the phone was great. I listen to music and text more than anyone I know so this was a HUGE problem for me. I told a friend and turns out his mom had the same phone and the same issues. Sigh.....

Great phone but doesn't work in Korea
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great phone and a good deal. However, the T-Mobile website incorrectly lists it as an international phone. However, it doesn't have the right band to work in Korea. Check carefully if you plan to use this phone internationally.

Great over all
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked this phone. Slightly bigger and easy to use. The only problem is that battery dies too fast. Couple of short calls and text messages and by noon battery was half way-battery was charged fully in the am.

slippy phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this is an okay phone, but it's too smooth and slippery...it slides off of everything. I have 3 tiny cracks in the case and scuffs on the corners after only 3 months. I can't find a case thin enough for it. It still works just fine but at the rate it slides off of things I cannot imagine it lasting as long as other phones I've had. The screen is strong, with good resolution and color. Volume is good, not too low and clear when turned up. Touchpad is fine. The buttons are nearly flush with the side of the phone which makes adjusting the volume a bit annoying. Camera is decent for photos, not impressed with the video it records. I do like the way it looks and feels but next time I'll refrain from getting such a slippery phone.

My 3rd Smart Phone in one month
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After trying out 3 smart phones I've finally settled on the LG L90. For less money than the first two phones this phone pretty much has it all. Good signal reception, lots of apps, great sound quality and nice 4.7" screen. I originally paid $179.99 for the phone, then 2 days later saw the same phone on the Best Buy weekly ad for $159.99. Best buy honored their "price match guarantee" and are refunding the $20 difference to my cc. I didn't even have to go to the store, Just a call to customer service. THANK YOU BEST BUY!

Excellent for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent buy for the price. Battery issue and sd card issue is mainly die to KITKAT. Kitkat doesn't allow write access to sd card so everything will be saved in internal memory. Free memory is around 3.9 GB and I use a 32GB sd card for my multimedia files

Perfect

Slow at times, battery is wasteful
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this phone for over 6 months now. I actually honestly like the phone overall. I love android, it has 4.4 and it works great. However, this phone's "battery saver" option only has a few settings that don't include data/mobile access usage. Even when I have excellent 4G coverage the phone still struggle to maintain it even when I'm not using it, making it overheat and drain the battery. Occasionally the amount of stuff that it tries to do all at once makes it slowed when I actually open an app or something. NOT ONLY THAT BUT WHY NO AUTO BRIGHTNESS FOR THE SCREEN?? Overall, like I said, I like the phone. I just would like to see some sort of improvement for next time.

Not even close to its predecessor, the L9.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The L90 is a poor update to its predecessor, the L9. I was very pleased with the L9 and bought two of these L90 models sight unseen; one for me and one for the wife. They looked good and were easy to set up and transfer settings from the old phone to the new ones; mostly because to the Google Gmail account synchronization feature. I was up and running in less than a half-hour. Overall sound quality is softer than the L9, and really too soft for business use. The quality of the voice via speaker phone is distorted at full volume. You have to reduce volume down to clicks (to 80%) to remove the distortion, but then it's almost too low to hear clearly and distinctly. Same is true for ring tones. They are too soft to easily hear when in my pants pocket. Where things really go south is the feature set. The home, quickset, and volume buttons are WAY too sensitive. Phone keeps activating and "butt dialing" in my pocket. I had to switch from simple swipe to unlock code to stop it. Unlock via code or pattern inhibits the lock screen icons that I found very useful. To be able to see text message counts, email counts, and missed call counts by hitting the power button without unlocking the phone was one of its greatest advantages. Now lost because the unlock by code or pattern doesn't allow that to happen. Also, the lock screen went from five clock choices to one -- and it’s poor. The L9 had a large easily readable clock choice that the L90 does not have. I tried several apps that replace the lock screen and allow choices of different clock widgets, but none support the icons I use #as described above#. No way to set individual notification tones to visual voicemail, so that voicemail alerts one sound, visual voicemail alerts another sound, and text message alerts a third sound while other apps alert an even different sound. Biggest problem has been Wi-Fi calling. Most attempts I tried #over 80%# do make connection to the number I dialed, and I can hear them, but they can not hear me. I had to turn the feature completely off because of the unreliability. Camera claims to be 5 MP, but only in 4:3 mode. In widescreen mode #16:9# it is only 3 MP. Be warned. It does, however, support panoramic pix in 3 MP mode, which is kind of cool. Lastly, the "self-healing" back is slicker than snot on a doorknob. I have had the phone slide all over the car when I set it down on the seat, and it has flown out of my hands twice. I guess a rubber case back may fix the slickness issue, as well as the "butt dialing" issue, too, but sound quality still stinks. Oh, how I wish I could return this trash and get my money back.

changes to vibrate-won't answer call
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone sucks-most every thing works fine except for when I get a call- I can swipe the "answer call" spot in any direction, I tap, no matter what I try- it will not answer until the caller has given up & hung -up. The one thing it should do "ANSWER A CALL" it does not like to do-#2-I've had this phone over a year & I miss half my calls because ever 2 or 3 days it changes to "vibrate only" so I never hear the phone ring, so if I don't remember to go into Settings every 2 or 3 days & reset to Ring & vibrate#which I want, prefer, need, but can't have because this phone is poorly designed# The 2 most important things a cell phone should do-this one refuses to. This is one expensive piece of junk
