If you really just want a android phone app smart go ahead and get this phone. But if you've got the money for another phone don't buy this one. I bought this cause that's all I could afford and I'm 14 so I could manage a few freezes once in awhile...But after that I got 4S I saw the difference. If you want a good camera, fast phone, NOT freezing phone don't get this phone.

    Great Android Phone For Price

This phone is great for $50. I had gotten this phone because I wanted an Android that had a 4.0 or higher operating system and the previous 2 phones I had gotten at Best Buy (HTC WildFire S and T-Mobile Concord) were $100 each and they were 2.3.7 operating system. To me the $100 phones were not really that good. When I first got the Alcatel One Touch Evolve, everything worked well on it then after downloading some games, I kept on getting multiple duplicate texts Turns out that the games from King (the Candy Crush people) had caused the multiple duplicate texts. So if you get this phone and download these games and you start having problems with the duplicate texts, just uninstall them and see if that works cause it did for me. Other than this problem, this phone is really great. What I really like about this phone is that it has about 1.5GB for internal storage unlike the $100 phones I had previously bought that only had 150MB. This is a great phone for the camera, music and phone calls. What I also like is that this phone has a front camera as well. What sucks for the camera is that it has no flash whatsoever. Over all this phone is really great for the price.

I like the phone for the price but it does not take very good pictures. This is my first smartphone and sometimes it force closes while I'm playing games.

Good cell phone for introducing yourself to smartphones. A little slow with 3G mode. Overall not too bad of a phone for a beginner.

This is a good backup phone in case something happens to your main one. Surprising features that are included in this phone: mobile hotspot, visual voicemail, and wifi calling. It may not be able to handle all of your apps (Candy Crush cannot run on it) but it should help tide you over until you replace your main phone. The phone was unable to handle more than one available wifi channels. My home has two: an unrestricted one and a restricted one for the kids. When I set up both connections on the phone, the phone could not decided which one to connect to and ended up dropping my wifi connection altogether. I resolved the issue by deleting the second connection and now it works fine. Don't expect too much from this phone especially at the price that you're getting it for and you won't be disappointed. You have two weeks to return it if you're not happy (do not peel off the plastic on the screen so you can return it).

We got this phone for my 9 year old to keep her off our phones. The phone had better features and the ease of use was somewhat better than our iPhones. We were really impressed with how quickly she picked up on how to use it. She talks, texts and downloads games on it. She loves it.

Bought this for my daughters! its a hold over until they are mature enough for an iphone! Its a smart phone and has a lot of capabilities! and the price you cant beat it. No 2 year contract on paying for a phone! just added a sim card to the phone and was up and running with Tmobile!

I would recommend T-Mobile Prepaid - Alcatel One Touch Evolve 3G No-Contract Cell Phone - Black to anyone. It's a good starter Android phone. It has a good camera, easy to use, lots of features, INEXPENSIVE but good quality. I am using this phone as my second phone - I wanted Android phone, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. I read a number of mixed reviews, but people typically expect a lot from inexpensive phones. Screen resolution is good, 0 dropped calls and bright screen.

I basically bought this as a backup phone to my other smartphone which runs Windows 8. I can't complain for the price, but the battery really drains fast despite I mostly leave it off.

This is first time switch from a flip phone to a smart phone so getting used to it , the texting using swype is better than the flipphone but will take some time to get used to. The screen size is a little small but it's a compact phone so not too big to carry in your pocket. downloads apps fine.

This phone is used by a grade school child basically for peace of mind that they have a phone if they need to contact us. It is easy to use and we don't have to pay a lot of money monthly as we pay as need minutes.
