Given the price, the phone provides a lot of value. Compared with my old HTC One S that costs $500+, this phone can do almost all the same thing with better battery life. I do not play games, though, so I am not sure if this one is capable of handling games. The down side is the display and camera have very low quality. However, for the price I paid, this is acceptable to me. If you want a good phone that has good camera, you probably should not consider this one. However, if you just want a phone that works and can install lots of apps, this one will work very well.

I purchased three of these for my kids. I have one of my own and looked it. However two of the three we ordered were damaged. In both cases the cameras were broken. Best Buy has been difficult on the exchange. We have made several phone calls and visited the store twice. I expect we will get the exchange but I am surprised at the hoops we encounter.

I bought this phone for my adult children on our cell phone plan because I phones were not in the budget and it works great. The only real difference is memory. This can be easily solved with an SD memory card.

I was worried about purchasing this phone b/c a lot of reviews had problems with it not working. But I have to say with heavy use this phone is working great, no problems so far. It has a big screen and the battery lasts all day with a lot of use. The price was good for all this phone has to offer at $129.99 + tax.

I like using this phone because it is easy enough to navigate while posessing all the qualities I wanted in a phone including customization. The only thing I am displeased with is the front facing camera

The phone is basically a value priced phone. Phone takes good pictures and screen has a decent size. Only problem is that with the current version of Jelly Bean it comes with, It will not allow apps to be moved to the sd card. I'm actually running out of internal memory space because of this. I'm soon gonna have to delete apps to install apps. Also from what I know, Alcatel is not planning to do any software updates. Good starter phone and not to mention, you can't remove the battery, whats up with that?

I needed a replacement for my Samsung Eclipse which I lost. I didn't want to have to change my plan to get a free phone from TMobile so I purchased this phone from Best Buy. I have been very pleased with it, the phone is fast and reliable with plenty of useful features. It was nice to buy a phone that didn't have useless game demos on it that you couldn't delete like on my last phone. Overall I am pleased so much so that I bought my wife one to replace her Samsung MyTouch.

MUST GET 32g sd card for any real use. without sd was kicking out text msgs becsuse there was no memory for them. but, for the price its a good phone, maybe not so much smart as reasonably intelligent. 1) screen is not always picking up touches I have to tap several times too much. 2) Drops my house wifi often. It picks it back up. No problems elsewhere. 3) Too much bloatware, 2g of ram and Tmobile fills it with useless tmobile apps. 4) It can use a Usb flash drive. Nice, 64g of extra memory... 32g each sd. usb

For the money, this is probably the best Android phone under $100. The screen size is good and the quad core processor runs the apps well enough to be usable. Don't expect anything like the Galaxy S5, which costs a lot more.

I BROUGHT FOR MY HUSBAND OF 55 FOR UPGRADE FROM COMPACT. HE LOVES IT AND FIND IT SIMPLE TO USE. IT IS VERY LITE WEIGHT AND CONVENIENT TO STORE. WE HAVE TO CHARGE BATTERY MORE OFTEN AS WE HOPE, BUT OVERALL, IT LASTS OVER EIGHT HOURS AND THAT'S MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR HIM. OVERALL, I RECOMMEND IT FOR THE VALUE AND STYLE.

This is a great phone to use if your old one dies or breaks. It was much better than my galaxy s4 which kept resetting and breaking on me. This a much more reliable phone.

This was my 1st smart phone and it was very easy to get used to. The only bad function is that every so often it starts to act up but as soon as the phone is restarted it works fine, other than that I have not had any issues with using this phone. I am not a heavy gamer, just use phone to play a few games, check email, make calls, texting, and access fb & ig. I also like the wifi calling feature.

I changed my LG optimuls l9 with this cheaper alcatel, and I am very happy with it! Runs very smooth. The connection with WiFi and cell net is very stable. Call's quality is very good and battery last longer! The only drawback is that there is no caller selection by phone number, but you have to search the name instead. This is the only defect I found. Great phone even greater price.

Long battery life, love the expanded wi-fi calling/texting option that allows me to expand usability in areas where t-mobile service is not available. The phone is just the right size and works great!

Great phone for the price. It was the cheapest android phone I could find that had all the features I wanted. The camera is terrible though and my Tmobile service sucks but the phone itself is good.

I just got this phone for my son. Its his first Android. I have a t mobile plan but didn't want to pay $300-700 for a phone. I bought this prepaid phone for <$130 and used it for my regular account. No problem. It has all of the features of a good quality android without the price tag. Definitely happy.

I buy pre-paid phones and slip in my contract sim chip in the phones when they get old, broken or stop functioning. Bought this phone to replace a pre- paid Nokia 521 that stopped charging with a very short battery life. This phone is much better and Battery life is much longer.

I really like this cell phone. It's comfortable, fast and easy to operate. There was no awkward adjustment period which I've sometimes experienced with other phones. The price is right, it's durable, versatile and does everything the higher priced phones do. My only minor complaint is its battery life, but all in all, I'd definitely recommend it.
