This phone is a very good phone. I had a Samsung Galaxy S4 but it needed to be replaced. I was very hesitant about a new phone purchase at first but once I found this HTC Desire I was pleasantly surprised. Great price, size, camera and easy to use. The keyboard is a tad bit glitchy but you can always use Google speak to text. So far the battery life has been good also. I am going to add a extra memory card because it only has 16g. Well worth it!!

Great phone for basic usage! Camera, messaging, internet access. Easy to navigate.

The battery life is beyond awful. I get to work at 8 am, and by 9:30am the battery meter already reads 69%. That's only after watching a video from my personal collection (no streaming at all). I always make sure no tasks are lingering in the background, so I'm unsure why the battery life is so awful. To top it off, the phone does not run too quickly either. This sucks big time for me as I am outside of the return window and did not buy a protection plan. What did I expect from HTC though. I figured since this particular HTC cost a little more, it would perform better. Boy was I wrong, wrong, wrong!!! To no surprise, it's no longer available online for purchase. Go figure. Definitely have to carry around a spare charger with this device.

After owning it 2 months, I think this phone works great! This phone does everything you need it to. Expandable storage is the real reason why I chose it. Being limited to just 8, 16, 32 GB internal storage with other phones really sucks.

I got this as a work phone, and I have to say, it is a pretty nice phone at this price. It is no S7, but It works smoothly and without much lag. It takes decent photos too.

Plastic body but it looks nice good display and average pictures but overall nice phone.

I really like this HTC cell phone... the volume on the phone is a little low but overall everything else is great about this phone especially the price.

This is a good phone. Its not pricey and it runs good. I haven't seen any of the issues that I've seen with my previous phones. I think I'm going to stick with HTC phones. My last phone was a galaxy 6 edge plus and it overheated on me within a month. This phone hardly ever gets that hot

Apparently, if your router goes below a certain dB frequency the phone will drop the WiFi connection and switch to cell. When connecting to WiFi, it'll drop about 5-7 mins later and then you'll have the reconnect. Hopefully this can be addressed in a firmware update from HTC.

If you are on a budget and need a decent phone for your apps, Bluetooth use, texting, taking pictures, etc., this HTC phone does the job. It's especially good if you are a Google user like me because I can access my drive immediately. Photos go straight to my drive so I can save memory. Its size is sleek. Well worth the bargain price.

Perfect 5 inch 720p HD screen. And plenty of space for games and apps with 16 gb of memory. Perfect teens and smartphone beginners. At a decent price!
