The phone for the price is hard to beat. Yes, that's a cliche, but for clarity, ease of use, easy to view on the larger screen, pics and ability to take panoramic along with reasonably good quality video. I've also traveled across half the country with the phone and had very good luck for still making calls in Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. Yes I did lose data, but calls seemed to hold when needed. Texting also seemed ok but was not widely tested. It felt like an expensive phone but price wise was not. Also since it wasn't an expensive phone, I don't feel like I've got to protect it as much as a $700+ phone. I can buy it outright for T-mobile use, if I want an upgrade in a year or it breaks, I won't feel awful as I can just go buy another one.

I was looking for a inexpensive phone, but good quality this phone has both. The screen is great even during daylight I can see the picture, the processor also works very fast, I wish it had more memory, but for the price I cant ask for more.

I bought this for my 83 year old mother who is accustomed to a flip phone. The HTC Desire 626 is not a fancy phone but it serves the purpose for a beginner android phone. It has a 5 inch screen and I adjusted the font to be extra-large so she could easily see apps and texts. It is thin and can easily be held in the palm of your hand. The screen is distinct and clear as pictured. It has a SIM card and a SD card slot to extend its capacity. The flap where you put the SIM & SD cards is somewhat flimsy. Be careful not to break it off. I had trouble putting in the SIM card (I should have read the instructions first.). The SIM card fits in a case and then the entire thing goes in the SIM card slot. This makes it easy for insertion and removal. You can select apps for 3 different screens: home, work, or an ‘out” screen. I found it difficult to clear the home screen to basic apps or put them in an order I wanted (I like alphabetical order.) The battery is NOT REMOVABLE from the phone. The battery lasts a while on one charge provided you’re not watching videos. There is a front facing and rear facing camera. You can take normal pictures, panorama pictures, or selfies. There is a button for this but I still need to play with it to figure out how to find it easily. The best part of the phone for my mother is the flashlight button. It is on the drop down menu on the home page. I programmed the phone with most used numbers and corresponding photos so she can see who is calling at a glance. She can now check her email without having to go online which is a plus for her. On the whole I find this phone to be very basic BUT it’s perfect for my aging mother because she understood how to use most of the features in one setting. I would recommend it.

Pretty good phone. 5 inch screen, fast for internet usage. One thing why I give a 4. Star because of the 8 GB of internal memory and 1 GB of ram. Screen is clear, size is great for around $100.

I've had this phone for a couple of months now works great for multitasking social media and browsing, very durable and light weight. As for the camera, picture quality is good, selfie camera so-so. Only con is the battery drains fast even when phone is not in use. And space for apps goes quick because system apps take up most of the space. I would recommend purchasing a microSD for extra storage.

I bought this for my 14 yr old as his first smartphone. Reasonable build quality, good looks, a decent screen and good performace are the pluses. Bad camera and mediocre battery life are the minuses.

for a budget device works great! Upgraded from windows 8 device. Finally Apps!! with the overwhelming world of unlocked phone available in this price point. I decided to just get this one. Since I'm on T-Mobile all I had to do was call turn on the new sim card that came with the phone. Very easy to use camera works good. and decent selfie cam. i just popped in the expandable micro SD card and your good to go. you wont go wrong if your looking for a nice budget phone that runs plenty fast! Nice Device good value good buy thanks HTC

Going in realize that this is a budget phone and temper expectations accordingly. Once you do this, you'll realize that this a is a great phone. Screen resolution is good with great viewing angles. Some smaller text or certain fonts can be hard to read, but overall it's good. The amount of RAM (1.5GB) is rarely found at this price point and is a must for anyone that multitasks on their phone. However, the processor is at times sluggish. For the most part every day apps run as they should. The camera is good. Don't buy this just for the camera, by no means is it worthy of that. Everyday pics come out clear so long add the is a good source of light. Though the flash can help out in times when there is no other option. The styling is similar to other phones HTC has been producing lately. There is a large black bezel on the top and bottom of the screen and grilles just beyond those so the total length of the phone seems larger than it needs to be. Speaking of the grilles, it seems as though they are speakers that will produce great stereo sound but that is not the case. Only one outputs any audio, which is about average when compared to any other phone. As far as actual phone usage, it gets and holds a strong signal. Though usage so far has been in metro areas. LTE speeds are great on TMo. A nice unexpected feature is HD voice calling which truly does offer great call quality.

I paid $100 for this phone for my 13 year old daughter who has previously had an iPhone and a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. She absolutely loves this phone. The battery doesn't last quite as long as some top teir phones but I seriously could not be happier with how much phone we got for the price.

I absolutely love my phone it's definitely an upgrade from my horrible ZTE Max. It's next to Samsung at best so far. It's got everything I need and want in a phone. The price was cheaper at Best Buy then at the T-Mobile store. I switched the Sim card and not making payments like previous phones.

Replacement for a kids phone. Good performance, decent battery life, and good camera. No complaints at all for the price. Ended up getting two of these as his sister wanted the same model because she liked the camera better. Large screen, but not uncomfortably so.

I bought this phone for my wife and very happy with the purchase so far.Good screen, snappy UI,Good call reception and for the size it doesn;t weigh much too.Camera could be better but it takes decent pictures.Even though its plastic body the build quality is good. I have used mid-range phones from LG and Motorola.ButThis one is far better than them.

Gave four stars because of the pop up ads when you try to use the phone. Other than that I am very pleased. No lagging, quick & simple to use. We bought two & have had no problems.

I originally got this phone as a temporary phone while I found the right phone. I soon realized that I already had found the perfect phone for me. The only thing my little girl likes it so much I'm gonna have to get one for her to. Camera is above what I expected, it's super quick streaming, gaming,u name it over all I can't say anything bad about it
