I purchased it to use at work it's a good inexpensive, phone if lost or damaged no big loss.

Eventhough it looks like a simple phone and its a very good phone.

Purchased this as an extra backup phone. It's a good basic phone. The price was excellent, 19.99. Samsung is making good products these days.

It's not the new fancy technology that's in the newer gadgets..sort of a beginner phone. Gets the job done!!!

I work for the government so I can't have a camera phone with me when I' m at work. My carrier only has this type of phone with out camera.

I bought this phone from Best buy (I mostly shop there) and am happy with the service. The phone has good connection and good sound. I did not want anything fancy, just a phone with a good connection and good sound and this is just the right one. Got this good deal at best buy for $19.99.

I paid around $7 for this phone when it was on sale. Phone is light weight and bit flimsy but definitely worth the price.

My father is happy to have working phone again his old one broke and all the fancy ones are hard to have him use.

This is a solid back up phone. My regular phone broke so I used this for a while. It may not have all those fancy features, but at least I can talk and text with no problems. It's nice to relive those times before smart touch phones existed.

Lost my smart phone and used this guy for two weeks while I had my other replaced. Great service and can stand a drop off the table or two.

For the price, it does exactly what it design for -make phone call. The 3G voice reception is much better than my old 2g one. Though the key pad is on the too cheap side , got the feeling it may break soon

this phone is fine for a starter phone or back up phone, I bought as a phone for my daughter and I am able to keep in contact with her if an emergency arrives.

My Samsung t199 phone is a nice backup phone. I was able to place calls and text minimally. It served its purpose.

If you just need a simple phone and need to make and receive calls this is it. great phone for visiting guests or teens that just need to stay in touch.

I got this phone as a emergency back up incase my phone were to break on me when traveling. Was just what I needed, but I was surprised by some of the features. It does actually have some kind of basic internet (though I don't plan on using it), and it is open to customization. Was able to use my own mp3s and images to customize the phone, which was great because I didn't want to listen to the usual simple ringtones the phone came with.

We needed a phone for our son and didn't want to make a huge investment just in case he lost it. So far, so good.

Bought this for my sister when her phone completely died. Simple and easy to understand and use.
