Great lens, but..
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As an APS-C lens, it is bulletproof. But it is NOT as advertised on this site. The site says EF mount, but in actuality, it is EF-S. It also says compatible with 5D, 6D & 1DX. It is not. Found this out when upgrading my body to an EOS-RP. Now I have a $700 boat anchor. For APS-C, it's a five. For full frame, it's a -5. Google Tamron B016. Everybody else, including Tamron, Adorama, B&H and Amazon says this is an EF-S lens. Disappointing BBY. Been a long run, but the "we're sorry, your outside your return window" left a bad taste in my mouth. I will source my purchases elsewhere
