    Excellent all around lens. A tad bulky and there is some vignetting at full zoom but a good lens overall.

    Clear and sharp in the center but this is an APS-C lens in my opinion. Edges are awful and you might end up with cropped corners due to image stabilization going outside the barrel width on full frame.

    The Tamron 28-75f 2.8 zoom lens is a good, solid zoom lens. I don't think it is as sharp or as fast as the Sony equivalent, but it is extremely cheaper. If you need a lens in this range the Tamron is a good choice, and it is definitely more wallet friendly.

    Bought this lens online, and when I returned it, I was told I would be charged a 15% restocking fee, which was about $105. I was not warned about this when I placed the online order. Doesn't matter if it's in the fine print or not (nobody really reads the fine print) -- there should've been a pop-up making the return policy clear.

    The difference between this and my kit lens is stark. Sharp images with a good auto focus. You get everything you pay for and more with this lens.
