Chill mat air flow is great for laptops

I'm not sure how well these things are supposed to work, but it definitely could be cooler. It has a port to plug in a power source, but you have to buy it separately. BOGUS. It's better than nothing, but I wouldn't pay $50 again or another one.

The fan on this new one does not seem to be working, blowing, at all. I must follow up with Targus.

One of the fans made a loud noise and it took a few taps to get it to quiet down. Sometimes it would get quiet then start up so a few more taps would be needed. I would go for a more reliable product next time.

The one I use makes a loud noise every time I plug in/turn on computer. I have to disconnect and reconnect a couple of times until the noise stops. The other one works fine with my boyfriend's computer. I guess I was the "lucky" one to get a defective device.

Also I chose the one with additional USB inputs, well u can't sync iTunes thru it. I kept gettin and error so when I hooked right to my MacBook Pro it works so it has to be the chill pad

The only good thing i liked about it is the hub to plug in more USBS, but other then that, not worth it.

Posted .Our fans have an RPM range of 1900 to 2500 depending on the model. This RPM range is average across most chill mats. They are designed to disperse heat. While the fans did work, they spun very slowly and did not provide enough power to cool off my laptop. Also, my laptop kept sliding off of the mat. Unacceptable.

Disappointing
