It's a really exlent product to use for your computer

So it wont let me ask a question so I'm asking it in a review I guess but it says 2 revolutions per minute this seems impressively slow I assume this is an error or these fans move at what the speed of evolution?

Chill Mat is not too noise. Does great job on keeping laptop cool while gaming.

I just got this cooling pad this week and it hasn't cooled my laptop at all. I needed to get a cooling pad that would lower my laptop's heat a lot, since I am a heavy gamer and reach 90 celsius while playing every day. I tried playing Dead Island Riptide with it for about 2 hours and I had almost the exact same temperatures without it. It only lowered about 2-3 celsius on average but would still hit that 90 celsius mark. I'm pretty sure it's ineffective cooling is because of the fan placement and small size of the fans. My two exhaust fans are on the bottom near the front and on the side, both which don't even get touched by the cooling fans on the product. My intake fan is positioned on the area but still does little to no difference while gaming. Although the main reason I'm not getting it is because of the bad design, it's still pretty effective for most laptops probably. Regardless, I'm not recommending it. I'm trying the Cooler Master next so hopefully I'll have better results there.

I just picked this up today. I like the lift/tilt option but, the fans are a bit too loud. The fan is decent strength. It is what it is. I need a cooling system.

fan works great, uses little power and is quiet. Great product.

This product is perfect for someone that has a laptop.

I bought this 4 months ago and it worked great until about a week ago when the fan started making a very loud noise and wouldn't quiet down unless I blew on it. I'm taking it back today to see what they will do about it. The multiple height adjustment is great but at the highest level, my laptop slides down so maybe it doesn't have enough gripping power to hold it up at that angle.

Yup. It has two fans. The amount of air they move is the equivalent of a sleeping baby’s breathing. The fans wont do enough for any gaming laptop to stay cooler. Its also made of cheap plastic and adjusting it makes you feel like youre gunna snap it. REALLY wanted it to work well but im better off blowing on it myself.

Overall good for the price. No issues with compatibility yet.

Finally I found a laptop fan and stand that I really like and works so well for my brand new computer. I am thinking about getting another one for my wife's computer. Great Stand and Fan set up.

Holds my laptop very nicely at different angles. Does not cool my laptop very well, not like my old Targus did. The noise from the fans is very annoying in a quiet environment like my home. I exchanged for another one at Best Buy but the second one also had noisy fans. If you had your stereo cranked up or were in a busy office or a Starbucks, the fan humming probably would not be heard. The fans in my old Targus were quiet. I guess the company just got cheap. They also took away the high and low speed that the old Targus had, and also no on/off switch anymore. If you put your laptop in sleep mode, the fans keep running unless you unplug the usb cable. Read the reviews on Google search for this product and you will see what I am talking about.

The only issue I have is that the cooling fans start to make a grinding noise on startup after about 2-4 months of use. It goes away after several minutes but it's rather annoying.

Just got one of these and it's a perfect example of why you'd want to try something out before buying -- that fan noise that cycles about twice a second is extremely irritating. Will be looking for a replacement asap. There used to be better options -- we have quiet metal ones at our other workstations.
