Keeps gaming laptops a lot cooler

Since i got it the warmest my laptop has gotten, even when playing more demanding games like Ark, is a couple degrees above the rooms temperature. A whole lot better than feeling like it just got taken out of the oven like it had without the cooling mat. Also love having the extra usb ports on the cooling mat so i could hook up my external hard drive and my keyboard so i don’t have to use the tiny one on my laptop. This is a 110% necessity for me when using a laptop from now on.

I’m happy to say this solved the problem. After hours and hours of gaming my laptop is no longer slowing down. It dropped temperatures about 10-15 degrees centigrade from where they were before. I highly recommend picking one of these guys up. The fans are pretty quiet for the most part except this higher frequency noise it makes which can be annoying.

I would like a higher fan speed or a better fan with higher CFM but this was on a "budget" and convenience purchase.

Ok, but Would Compare to Other Options

The legs don't always lock into place when raising up the pad and the fan has begun making a weird noise. The extra USB ports are nice and it does help keep the laptop cool at the expense of the noise.

The size is perfect for 15" laptop. BUT!!! These little rubber standoff pads have come loose. See Pics
