Bought this thinking be great but was bulky, fans are loud and felt cheap for the money

Never had an issue with this, really quick and simple plug in and go. Fans make a bit of noise but won't be heard over your own laptops fans.

The fans are loud. They are also in the middle of the stand and my MacBook tends to overheat where the screen meets the base so it doesn't help.

Not very efficient at keeping laptop cool. I use primarily on my lap which is extremely uncomfortable. For the price I expected it to be alot better than it is.

After about two weeks of use, it started making a very loud obnoxious noise. I will return it to see if I can exchange it, but I'm not impressed at all.

This cooler has the perfect height adjustment for me and provides an acceptable typing angle. The downside is that is has an irritating higher pitched hum to the fan.

Ran great for about a week then one of the fans started making a very loud noise (even when my laptop wasn't on it) and I ended up returning this and purchasing a different cooling pad elsewhere.

This thing is now living in the closet with the rest of my under performing nicknacks!

Fans arw a little noisy. The angling is nice and now the laptop doesn't burn my legs.

I wanted something to elevate the laptop especially when on calls. This works well and has a built in usb port.

Loud and inefficient. Made with Cheap plastic parts. Flimsy. Much better cooling mats available just about anywhere.

had this fan for about a month, its a fan, its just a fan, it already is starting to make noise and rattle very disappointed in it for a fan over $20 it should last longer then one month.

This Targus "Chill Mat" is wonderful! So quiet, I forget that I am working on it (and it has an elevation feature). The four extra USB hubs are well worth the cost. I highly recommend the Targus.

One flaw but it is fatal. This unit is so loud that it is impossible for me to not be distracted by the noise. It is irritating. I had high expectation for a Targus product at this price point. One start for quality and value as this item is unusable due to noise. I returned this item.

The Tagus chill mat is a relatively quiet and excellent priced cooling system for laptops, especially now when everyone is mostly at home due to the health crisis.

This is designed really well and works really good. The fans are pretty strong and my laptop has not overheated once since I go this. I tried 3 others before this one and the design on them did not work out at all.

I wish I would have taken the other reviews on this product more seriously. I bought two for my son and I and they both went to sounding like helicopters within a moderately short amount of time. Sometimes when you're just moving your PC and sometimes even just went your PC boots up. The good thing is they still prop up the laptops so they can get extra breathing room to the fans but otherwise they became useless as far as the fans and USB ports go.

It works, don't get me wrong. I'm running a 17" HP laptop with Nvidia graphics card and the mat keeps it nice and cool while I'm gaming or running processor intensive programs. But sometimes it just starts squealing for no discernable reason. This started the first few weeks of using the thing as well. The only thing that fixes it is percussive maintenance, and it's a bit annoying, to be honest.

the fan cools good but the adjustment knobs are tempramental. If you even bump it slightly, the angle adjustment collapses flat. I believe the adjustment knobs could have been better.

Best fan I’ve ever had, I really like it so far. For a lower priced fan it does a great job! I would recommend to anyone!
