This needs to be changed to only screen size. My laptop is a 17" screen size but overall laptop is much wider and hangs off. Item was returned as laptop kept falling off.

If you want to use it as stand for your Mac is a good choice, but if you have problems with overheating with your Mac, it won't definitely be a good choice for you.
