The chill mat works well. It has made kept a laptop that was running very warm cool to the touch. The stand has worked well for making said laptop a stationary family computer. The fans are a bit loud- so much so that the wife sneaks through and unplugs it if I leave it running and walk away.

Low overall rating is because I had to return the original one. It was louder than I thought it should be but figured my expectations might be too high. Then at about the 3 week period it started with a high pitched whine. Sounded like a bearing was bad in one of the fans. I discovered if I turned it upside down (in an attempt to take pressure off the bearing) the noise would cease. After a couple of bouts with this, I returned it to Best Buy. That's when I was informed that I had exceeded the store return policy and normally it would have to be returned to the manufacturer. However, only being a couple of days past the store return policy, an exception was made and a replacement was provided. Thankfully, this one is much quieter! I would likely buy another if needed.

Although this fan does it's job it is very very noisey. To the point of being annoying

The product works very well for both keeping the laptop from overheating and providing a stable work surface. If I had been using it for six months or longer with the same results I would have given it 5 stars. Check back with me in the fall.

This laptop stand not only holds the computer at a good angle for viewing the screen and using the keyboard, it helps prevent the computer from overheating and provides four additional USB sockets to replace the one used to connect the stand to the laptop.

I have needed one of these for awhile. It helps keep everything cool when utilized.

Glad i got this with my husbands laptop. My husband didnt know anything about pcs or laptops so if i hadnt gotten this it would have overheated already!

The item was over priced. It is pretty flimsy. Not worth the cost of the item. The fan is loud. I was very surprised at the lack of quality because Best Buy typically carries great quality items therefor i didn't examine it b4 using it and by the time i did use it it was too late to return

Everything seems to work fine. Time will tell as to how much it is actually cooling.

I am satisfied that I made a good choice in buying this laptop. I like ASUS and I wanted to stay with it.

I Really Like This, It Elevates Laptop To Desired Position And Keeps Laptop Cool.

This chill mat keeps both my lap and my laptop cool. My system does not throttle due to excess CPU heat. I love the adjustable angle. The non-skid feet are useful when using the laptop at a desk or table.

This product is way better than the previous one I had. I love how it fits in my computer bag and how the fan works so easily. Bonus is the USB port in the back. This is something I use often.

I love it does just what is says cooling system for your laptop. No more getting hot on the bottom. USB port right there to charge your phone.

The Targus Chill Mat keeps computer from heating up. Definitely a nice feature

This mat is adjustable, has relatively quiet fans, and four USB 2.0 jacks. It is the perfect size for my new work-issued small laptop and it raises said laptop high enough for my comfort. It was a good purchase for me based on my needs.

Works great and I don't feel like I am so slumped over while working on a lap top all day. Could have done without the fan underneath, as I never use that function. Otherwise great product and would buy again.
