I've used several cooling mats and this is worth every penny.

Use this when I use my laptop in bed to keep it from overheating

Chill mat works well with my computer, and like that it tilts

I do like that you can adjust position however a little bulky.

Works well with my laptop. Portable, not heavy, easy to handle and keeps things cool. The 4 USB ports are a bonus and helped me make the decision to purchase this cooling system.

The product works well, I like that it has variable height and USB ports. Negatives are that the fan noise could be quieter and that some none slip pads be supplied to stop my laptop sliding when tipped.

A life saver, I highly recommend this. It keep my gaming laptop from getting hot and it turns it self on when needed.

I use this on my Alienware m17 r3, and it works perfectly and hassle free. This cools down the laptop perfectly, also purchase one for my sons hp omen

Works somewhat good. Not fully cooling off my laptop but it does a little bit. Somewhat loud too

I purchased two chill mats - one is perfect and quiet, the other had a but of a hum to it, which if I wasn't a transcriber would be fine, but the added noise bothered me. I returned one and its replacement had the same hum. Am learning to deal with it. Wish the second was as quiet as the first.

Feels very cheap for 50$, very loud at times, not sure its even working at others. The idea is good, but not great. Needs to be more sturdy, stables, lock and unlock into position. One usb port stopped working already

It's not what they told me I was buying. And it never shuts off unless you unplug it. That said, it actually helps my laptop not fry itself, and that's a huge plus. Pros: - Cheap cooling for expensive laptops - Lowered my laptop tempos, gpu and cpu, by 15-20 degrees - light Cons: - It is not made for sitting on your lap. It was sold to me as a cooling lapdesk. It's designed to sit on a table, desk, or platform. If you put it on your lap, the corrugated underside digs into your legs. - Unless yes you unplug it from the USB slot, it never shuts off. - The lip on the front edge that is supposed to keep your laptop from sliding off... Is smooth, hard plastic, and rounded so your laptop thinks it's a ramp. I had to apply athletic grip tape to it so my laptop wouldn't slide off. - The entire top surface has no real grip, so your laptop slides all over. Applied more grip tape to that... Look, if you're going to put it on your desk, and use an extension keyboard and mouse with your laptop, then it will kind of do the trick, as long as you don't unfold it to raise your laptop. If you do, put something grippy on that lip, or you're gonna be unhappy. Also, it's for very small laptops. I have a super slim MSI GS75 Stealth, 17", and it hangs over the sides of this thing. Don't put anything larger than a 15 inch laptop on it.

4 USB connections are great for peripherals. Also like the fact it cools the laptop, I think most of the problems with my previous laptops was overheating.

Quieter than others I have used. Like the additional ports.

I like the fact that it has an adjusting feature for height preference, but the bottom of the mat that sits against your lap is uncomfortable. I always have to use something between the mat and my lap. The prior mat I had was a solid smooth surface as opposed to the "grid" type bottom this one has.

Only (and it is the only one) hitch know (~10 months later) is that the fans are loud upon start. A quick/soft bang and viola.... Back to normal quiet operation. Love, Love the additional USB's in the back!

Keeps things cool and it's surprisingly quiet, i love it.

i BOUGHT THIS BASED ON THE NAME WE ARE ALL FAMILIAR WITH TARGA, BUT I WAS SUPRISED TO FIND THE CHILL PAD WAS POSSESSED. FOR NO REASON AT ALL, IT STARTED MAKING THE MOST AWFUL LOUD NOISE. THEN IT WOULD STOP.. START AND STOP START AND STOP. YOU GET THE IDEA. MAYBE A FLUKE, MAYBE NOT... YOU DECIDE!!

Have had no problems with this product. Works as expected.
