Doesn't really do a good job and makes really bad noise after a few times of turning it on/off with your laptop. Didn't really reduce my temperature on my Macbook Pro at all. Takes multiple plug in/outs to stop the really crazy "racket" noise of the fans hitting some of the cheap plastic inside, which ruins your USB ports. The only good thing about it is the extra USB ports on the back, but it's not worth the price or those ports.

This laptop cooler does exactly what I need. I have a computer that runs hot so I always have a cooler. My reason for a 4 rating is that it is quite loud.

The fan is very quiet. The different angles are a good option. The extra USB ports are welcomed.

It keeps my computer cool. It gives good ergonomics function for using the laptop. It also expands the number of ports you have for plugging in peripherals.

I had a Targus Chill Mat for a number of years and the fan was fairly loud. I had high hopes for this new one but it is not better and can even be worse at times. Sometimes it can be reasonably quiet but at other times when I start up my laptop and the chill mat is plugged in it sounds like a jet engine. You have to unplug it and reposition the laptop to try to get it to stop being that loud. It also does not work that well with a 17" laptop with an extended battery in that the laptop is hard to position securely so it doesn't slide. Having said all that, when it works correctly it does seem to cool the laptop but that doesn't outweigh the issues.

I love this chill pad , but its a little on the noisy side.

I found that the construction was more plastic than I expected and the fans do not align to the air vents in my laptop. Also the fans are not assessable if repairs are needed. More costly than I feel necessary for what you get.

This chill mat does what it is supposed to. I just wish it was softer at the bottom for extra comfort when it is on my lap.

I was having problems with my HP laptop overheating. Bought this mat and problem has resolved. Love the adjustable height and added USB ports. It is lightweight and easy to use, just plug in and go.

Many night we sit on the couch using our laptops....This is the perfect size we needed and keeps our computers cool as we work...

That takes a little getting used to but those wonderful extra USB ports on the back...out of sight...out of the way...and really convenient for assorted dongles. Nice addition.

Very well product that’s works well while in bed, keeps your laptop cool, I really enjoy the charger ports that’s connected.

Works great in beginning until burns out then becomes very noisy everytime you open product for use as the bearings seem to go 1st . Plus though it's used for overheating it seems to make my computer work harder while in use.

Not bad but the fan is a little loud. Serves its purpose.

I had one of these years ago but do not know what happened to it. This one is great as it has ports and is adjustable.

Great product really helps keep smaller laptops from over heating.

This cooling system does a great job of keeping my laptop nice and cool. The pivot is perfect for my hands. Awesome product.

So I only use this thing for its cooling capabilities, don't really use the USB ports because I don't need all the extra it was kind of an added bonus.

I expected it to be made more sturdier, especially for that price tag...but hey, it gets the job done.
