Does the job it needs to, and makes a useful - but limted - USB hub on top of it. Works for my desk well.

Within the first couple months, the fans had started to make a grinding noise. I assume something was hitting the fans, but I was unable to figure out what. I couldn't find anything physically. Unfortunately, the only fix I could find was to give it a love tap. Well, the love tap will only work so many times until something breaks. I ended up breaking a fan blade and it got lodged in the fan blocking it. At this point, I took it apart and removed it as to get the fan running again. This was yesterday. Currently the unit is working as expected. I do not know for how long. My guess is less than a week before the sound comes back. The USB Hub is an amazing feature and it is actually the reason why I chose this product over the other product the particular store I was at had to offer. I would like to note that the material used when making this product feels flimsy and like it is prone to breaking easily. Though, it has last over a month with consistent use. My only issue is that I have had already had issues with the fans grinding on something in the month I have had the product. I do not feel like it is worth the $60 I payed for it. I am sure you can find another cooling pad far cheaper without a hub that is more sturdy. That said, I do not regret this purchase one bit.

I love the design of the laptop cooler and the adjustment of different levels. However, I could not stand how loud the two fans were and ended up returning the item just because of the noise.

This Chill pad worked great. Having 4 USB ports is so convenient. It really helps keep my laptop cool.

The price for the item and appearance was questionable, but I purchased the item thru BestBuy.com due to Covid-19, for curbside pick-up. Got the item home and it worked well enough for two weeks. It brought laptop temps down and allowed my daughter to place the laptop at enough of an angle to see the keys and type. After this honeymoon period the fans would squeak at start-up but become quiet after a few seconds. I assumed it needed cleaning and checked the blades...no dust build-up. As we continued to use the device the squeaking started to last longer, and longer, to the point that it will stop after a few minutes now. The fans also randomly squeal during use now, requiring a good “smack” against the unit like an old CRT cathode tube TV! Spend the extra money for a Targus device.

Keeps my Laptop cool and the added USB ports are very helpfull.

I really like this chill hub/mat because it is adjustable and because of the extra USB ports behind it, which frees up my laptop on the sides. The fan is also quiet.

This was purchased to go with my son's new laptop. I'm really not sure why this device is needed. I've used laptops at work for many years and never needed an extra cooling device but he reports that he's happy with it.

Works very nice , keeps my computer cool and at the right angle

This provides a good base and angle for my Surface Pro 4. The cooling aspect is nice. Additional usb are also great.

Needed a cooling pad for my old laptop. This one has the ability to adjust positions and keeps cool. Only thing I don't like it the noise of fan, a little loud.

as a stand for my macbook it is excellent but the two fans do not 'chill' the battery and it is still quite hot. (Know it's a mac issue but the mat doesn't do what it's supposed to.)

Bought one a while back. Began making a noise like a bearing destroying itself - but, for the convenience od the USB hub, I fiddled with it to keep it going. When I died I figured what were the odds of two lemons in sequence - obviously pretty darned good! The fans do move air - when they are not shredding themselves - and the hub does work.

I purchased this product due to cooling issues with my HP 17" laptop. The product while noisier than anticipated works well and resolved my cooling issue.

If I could find my receipt I would have taken this cheap (not in price) thing back. Every time I shut my laptop down and then restart the fans rattle and make a loud, obnoxious noise. I have to then take the laptop off while connected to the cooling pad and give it a slap or two on the side to get the fans to stop rattling. NOT What I was hoping for!

Perfect size for my laptop and extra usb ports & the fans was strong enough to keep my laptop plenty of cool air.

Only saw a couple degrees Celsius change. For the pretty price tag this laptop chill pad is I would like to see a lot more quality and innovation. The whole build is almost all plastic, that’s not the problem. It feels like very cheap and the bracing might snap. Try a different product I don’t recommend this.

I normally have all four ports connected, great cooling device and and definitely worth the money.
