The first week of use, I had no problem. Now whenever I plug the cooling system in the fan is so loud, like there is something stuck in it (there isn't) and I have to bang it around a bit to knock it back into silence. When it's quiet, I absolutely love it. Perhaps mine is faulty, but it is worth considering when you purchase.

Good quality. It does its job and I like the four USB ports but it is missing the 3.0 USB port

GS staff recommended that I purchase a cooling fan for my laptop computer. So, before leaving the store, I went to see what was available. I purchased ..what I thought would be the best between the two. I guess it was a mistake. I brought it home, set it up put my laptop on it...tried the adjustment...thought all was well....bumped the cord and the lap top took a nose dive and rolled right on to the floor, hit the top of the screen. Now I can't hardly read the screen....I think it lost some pixels...or something.... it is very unreadable... I am trying to figure out now what to do....should I connect it to a monitor so I can read it? or buy a new computer? I'm afraid that this little cooling fan stand has cost me a pretty penny in the long run. The front of the stand that holds the computer in place is not very secure in that it is curved and too easy for the computer to roll out of position. ;(

My wife's laptop was having problems due to overheating. We got this and now it works fine. Does what it says.

I opted for this one because it had fans and additional USB ports. So far so good.

This is an awesome product, it keeps my laptop cool and has USB adapters.

I always do my electronics shopping at Best Buy. I buy all my laptops and I-pads from there. I had bought another laptop and decided a few weeks later that I needed to invest in a chill pad. They had a few of them. And this one caught my eye. It had the extra ports I needed. And I love the dual fans on it. And they are very quiet. Would recommend this product to anyone.

It does the job well and I appreciate the ports in back. They work well, even for using an external hard drive. The only problem is that it has a balance issue on one of the fans and it can get noisy. For fifty bucks I expect better.

Haven't had it long, but so far so good. On the pro side: easy set up. On the con side: the fans are a bit noisy and having the USB receptacles in the back of the unit is a bit awkward.

I bought this online and it was delivered in only three days (over a weekend). since the pad is powered by a USB port, you'd expect it to be readily accessible to the port wherever the port is located on the laptop. Well, I found the cord reached ONLY the closest port on my computer (which had only two on the left side). Thankfully, I have had no problems with the four ports the pad makes available. I have had a problem with a high-pitched noise which is difficult to characterize. It sometimes seems as a whistle, hum, warble, or screech. At times the sound as bad enough to make my dog whimper or even howl. I eventually bought 'noise cancelling' headphones which blocked the noise well (my dog now leaves the room when I turn on the cooling pad)

Decided to surprise the wife with this as having a monitor and a laptop side by side at different heights was bothering her neck. Great find and she's been using it every day ever since. No more complaints and it helps keep her laptop cool (which her IT Dept appreciates).

Does a decent job keeping my laptop cool. Just slightly noisy.
