This unit moves a lot more air and by tilting up it keep a lot of the heat off of her, She lays of couch with her laptop on her lap and complains about the heat. This unit stopped the complaining.

I am now on my third one of these in less than a year. They seem to last about 3-4 months then the bearings in the fan start making lots of noise. Luckily there's been no problem exchanging it for a new one each time!

I got the cooling system mat to see if maybe it was overheating. So far, it seems better, but I am hesitant to give it 5 stars without more time on the laptop to see if this really fixes the problem.

cheap and flimsy

It is very cheap feeling and when you tilt the stand up your laptop falls off. Also the fans are very small and barely feel like they are working. I would not recommend!
