I really like the cooling feature, but I'm not impressed at all with the 4 USB ports - I didn't realize, until after I bought it, that the ports were only 2.0 ports. I am having trouble with them running my wireless mouse and other products at the same time - sometimes I can't get anything to work using them. I wouldn't recommend this for anyone that's looking for the added USB component - not rated high enough to do much...The box does indicate that it's only 2.0 USB, but on the side leaf and not very noticable.

It works perfectly! Puts my Mac exactly in the best position with my external monitor. Very sturdy and I do not have to worry about my laptop falling even when I adjust the height of my desk. Very Very well made, quality product

Purchased this item in March 2016 to replace another Targus chill mat that lasted almost 6 years. After about two months of use one of the fans began squealing intermittently. The only way to stop the squealing is to unplug the USB cord and then plug it back in - sometimes it solves the problem, sometimes not. The entire unit is made of plastic and doesn't feel very solid, especially the adjustable top surface and its locking slide. Overall, pretty clunky feeling and not the most stable.

In my situation where the laptop sits on a flat top all day this cooling fan works well to keep our laptops cooler... I would like to see it have a filter. We placed a peace of house air filter on top of the fan between the cooling unit and the laptop.

This product is effective, however it's loud. The one I owned previously had an on/off switch and I was able to plug it into the wall without purchasing more parts.

This is my second Targus chill mat. I upgraded to this one because the last one started rattling and now this one is doing the same thing. Very disappointed. If it wasn't for the noise I would give it a higher rating.

I have had this product for 2 weeks and one of the fans now rattles. I can be using my laptop or not using the laptop and all of the sudden the fan on the right (from the top side) just starts making this horrible rattle. I clean the product at least two times a week and always check it to make sure it does not need cleaned before it is used. I have not even had the product long and already it is breaking. It is not worth the $50, that is for sure. I have another chill mat for my sons smaller laptop and it works perfectly no noises, no problems, and keeps the laptop cool. This product barely cools my laptop and the fan just rattles at random times. I have to unplug it and plug it back in several times before the fan will quit rattling. Buy a better brand or at different product.

best one with 4 usb and two powerful fans i bought 3 for all our family laptops for home ,school and business. Both my wife and daughter love how simple and easy to setup and durable it is.

Such a great addition to my makeshift at home office these days. I have been working off of my laptop but added to additional monitors recently and now use this to stand up my laptop.

I have found this to be a great help in keeping my laptop cool and the getting the 4-port USB ports in the back are great.

I gave thus as a gift ij Xmas and was very useful for a person that is handicap and now he can use the laptop when he is in bed. Plus having the extra ports is just what he needed.

I had a previous cooling unit for my laptop and it helped to make it last eight years by keeping it cooled and not to over heat.

Works as promised; no complaints thus far. Targus has good history with peripherals.

It came highly recommended from multiple IT people I currently or used to work with. It is exactly what I need to keep my laptop cool. I should have purchased it, this past summer.

My computer was always getting hot with my other cooling pad. This laptop cooling system is the best thing I have ever had. My computer stays cool all the time now.

I've used Targus chill pad for years & this was such a disappointment. This is made of plastic, not very sturdy; very noisy; was hard to adjust its height.
