I drive a commercial truck and resting my laptop on my lap or my belly laying down, it would get very hot, Dell G7 15. THIS THING WORKS GREAT! Recommend it!

After getting the item and reading the box....I did not open the item at all. It seems that you can get an external power supply to use the USBs. Just in case your laptop is not powerful enough to supply power to them. Returned item due to this...

I worked fine for a couple of months but then the fan started to make a horrible noise once connected, after a while it quiets down but I’m thinking that it’s going to quit on me any day now. Obviously not a quality product.

the product does what it says it does and the usb ports are a bonus

Bought as a replacement and couldn't be happier with the purchase.

It worked really well until recently it started making weird noises but it still gets the job done

I use this for my HP creator studio laptop. I sometimes crypto mine so, this keeps it fairly cool while it does.

This does exactly what I need it to do—keep my laptop from overheating. The only issue is that it’s loud. I had to get used to typing on an incline, but other than that, I have no complaints.

Had a laptop that would overheat without space below the laptop. Since the start of using the Targus - Chill Mat+ Laptop Cooling System With 4-port Usb Hub, NO OVERHEATS. The 4 port USB hub also adds needed USB ports.

I've always used chill pads with my laptops. And finding one that was dependable is always a chore. But the Targus does a very good job. It's nothing fancy, just a chill pad. Gets the job done!

I'm sure it's efficient for cooling but it's very noisy. I waited too long to take it back.

I can't tell if it really works to cool down my notebook computer or not. I can feel the warm are coming out, but the computer still gets pretty warm. This seems to serve its purpose but is definitely quite a bit noisier than I would like.

After two weeks of use, it started making a loud racket when plugging it into the laptop. I now need to plug and unplug it multiple times for the loud noise to stop. Eventually it stops making the noise and runs quieter.

I purchased 2 of these 2 years ago for my 2 laptops that I use for DJ gigs to keep them cool during g long shows. Does the job exactly the way I need them to.

It keeps my wifes laptop running cool. if it is bumped the left fan seems to grind on the plastic case its in so not the best construction but it works. In my opinion not worth the 50 dollars.

The Chill mat plus is well priced for its capability, but that capability is somewhat limited when powered by the USB ports of older laptops. I strongly suggest purchasing the optional AC power adapter, if you are planning to use the Chill mat + with an older machine. The additional USB ports are extremely helpful to my tendency to use my laptop like a desktop when at home and then simply unplugging one USB connector when I want to pack it up an take it with me. Also, note that while typing with your laptop in one of the medium to higher viewing angles, your laptop and the Chill mat+ will tend to vibrate which can become slightly annoying.

I had purchased a flat chill mat, but I rather like this one because it puts the notebook where I can see and type on it more proficiently. A Bestbuy sales Rep, after hearing my complaint, suggested this one. I'm VERY happy with my Targus - Chill Mat+!

The items works as described. I have some concern about the quality of the parts. I would recommend this product for a college or high school student.

I needed something to raise my Tablet up closer to eye level because of my neck issues. This product has done a nice job of that and the cooling aspect is a nice bonus. So far it has been durable and is also lightweight but sturdy.
