First thing is that whatever the CFM is, it's not much. Second, it only lasted about 6 months. Third, it is way over priced vs quality, you can get a much better product for a third of the price. I would like Best Buy to carry more options in this category. Save money, get a better product, purchase a different brand.

The wide range of viewing angles from such a compact package is really pretty cool, I thought. That a some of the little touches like where the pads are placed and the lip at the bottom fit great with my laptop. Everything felt very snug and secure when seated properly. That all being said, it just too loud. Not only are the fans themselves a little on the loud side, but after 10 minutes or so of initial use, a faint whining sound emerged to create a chorus of noise. I liked the design enough that I was planning on exchanging it for another unit to see if I could at least get one without the whining noise, because I really do like the overall design, but after reading other reviews it looks as if the noise is a fairly persistent problem here. Too bad.
