Last night I had to unplug it after the fans started to burn out. Garbage build quality, garbage fans and poor cooling. Did I mention it's loud? It's annoyingly loud. Or was, again the cheap fans burned out already. I had it running pretty much constantly to keep my gaming laptop cool. It had no way to turn the fans off so they just made constant noise that made my desktop seem stealthy. For 15 bucks this would be acceptable. At the current price point this is a travesty of a product.

The bottom of this product should be padded. If you put it in your lap it needs a towel or cushion; or some such to be comfortable. It's not the most efficient cooler. It doesn't vent the heat from the computer. It merely blows the hot air back up into the computer. Poor design. Wish I could get my money back.

My Best Buy did not have any of the one I wanted and it would take almost 2 weeks for one to be shipped. I could not wait so I went ahead and bought this one. Big mistake!!! Same problems I had with my previous Targus. Made weird, loud noise upon start-up and DOES NOT KEEP LAP TOP COOL.....

The position of the fan in most chill pad is the only issue I have. Depending on the location of the heat vent on your laptop, this might be ideal, or not.
