I kept getting an error message on my laptop that it was over heating and would need service. Took it in and they suggested trying this before paying to have the laptop looked at. It works great and have not had an overheating error message since.

This device has probably given my old computer an extra 6 months to a year of life. Before I bought the Targus fan it was heating a lot. Now it gets warn but not hot. I have to feel to see if it's running. Doesn't make a lot of noise. That good.

It works like a dream for the price. Quality is good and runs for hours.

I ordered the wrong size. I have a 17" laptop and this was for a 15"

Love the dual fan action also very stable with the rubber stopper on the bottom. Also love that you can tilt it upward for comfort and extra air flow to the computer. This product works great and would recommend it for any laptop

this fan seems to do fine once it is running. it rattles at take off, then gets going fine. laptop was shutting off from over heating quite often before the fan. this has gotten better, but at small price. all and all it does a good job.

For the price this dual fan is awesome and I recommend it. The only problem is that sometimes the USB connection seems faulty and doesnt read the laptop when I plug it in. Its only happened a few times so I still rate this item high. I would recommend this to a friend most definately.

My idea of a perfect chill pad would be to have one that was both wireless and runs silently. It should be regulated by a small temperature gage that would only operate the chill pad when needed rather than running continuously.
