Great laptop pad. the fan pulls air from the side, not directly from underneath as other pads do. Therefore it can sit on top of bed or other surface that would block airflow on other pads.

My old notebook sometimes was overheating so i bought it for fixing this problem. It works well and it is so cheap. The problem is the dimension. It's not comfortable for 15.6" notebook, but it was indicated on it that eorks for that shape.

I knew from a previous laptop I'd owned, keeping a laptop cool is critical to its' operation. I knew of the reliability of the Targus products and this product demonstrates their consistent quality. I would buy it again and recommend it.

Worked as expected during first year. After that, the fan became loud and disrupted my thinking while typing, and the mat felt too warm for comfort on my lap. Maybe it’s supposed to last only a year?

I took the first one I bought because I thought it wasn't working, turned out it was so quiet you don't hear it.

I carry this in a backpack at college all day. Tried it with many other lap pads and they habe all died this one is toughest yet.

After having it for a couple weeks it started making a weird noise when the laptop is powered up for the first time. If I attach the cord to the Chill Mat after the laptop is started up, it doesn't make the sound.

I was searching for a computer cooling pad and the Best Buy associate recommended this one over the others based on personal use. He was right, it works just as he said it would. I would recommend this product.

I took this cooling pad for my laptop only to realize that it's USB slot was only on left side with not enough long cable to connect the laptop USB on the right side. I have to return the product back.

This product is great for using for a short amount of time, but if you game or plan on using it for very long periods of time I would suggest trying another cooling pad. All in all though pretty good product.

Very easy to use cooling pad for laptops, just plug in the USB connector and that's all there is to it. Works very effectively and quiet, would recommend to any user thinking of getting a cooling pad.

i bought this about a month ago and was really excited because it was a decent price and my old laptop cooler had broken. at first i was very very disappointed with this cooler because it hardly worked and my laptop got just as hot with it as it did without it. now, i use it only when i'm doing something that uses a decent about of CPU like skype. it doesn't do much because when the computer is hot, it blows hot air on the bottom of the laptop. also, the airflow is very weak. the only reason i'm keeping it is because i need to have one and i don't want to spend much more money.

Bought this for my son and it works great with his new laptop. The package says for up to a 15.6 laptop, but his laptop hangs over a few inches on each side. Would be ideal option for smaller laptop.

I bought this chill mat to replace my old one that had a bad usb cord. So far this one has worked well. It doesn't have a weird angle for the usb cord to plug into the laptop like my old one did.

This "cooling" pad does not seem to be very efficient. The fan barely cools the bottom of an already fairly coll laptop PC. I don't think I would recommend it unless you have a very small loptop.

I'm now on my second cooling fan in roughly 1 and 1/2 years. The first one had a fan that stopped working, so I pitched it and got another. They do the job, but so far, durability is questionable.

I am a gamer and so sometimes I am push my laptop pretty hard for hours. Before I even had a shutdown from it being too hot. But now I can game away for hours and it feel like I just turned it on!

Light and flexible and it is not like all my previous chill mat made out of plastic. Got this chill mat for good price from best buy. Great buy and best buy matches most of the online retailer.

I have an 10 year old Targus cooler. It blows harder than this one. Only thing good it's a little more quiet. I'll wait till this one breaks.

Bought this as a gift for my son who's laptop continually ran hot, sometimes shutting down. Since using the chill mat he's had no issues
