This item was purchased to place under our laptop to help keep it cool and so far it has done a really great job.

Brought this and a 17" cooling mat. This one didn't seem to cool as well and it doesn't elevate like the 17" one.

Excellent product. Keeps laptop cool. It does what it's supposed to.

I thought it would help and it made a big difference.. My grandson use it for his laptop He thinks it's great.

I wish I would have shopped around for a better chill mat. It is noisy.

I got this for Christmas in hopes of keeping my computer cool underneath. Works great as far as I know.

Works well for laptops of same size . If only usb cord could be a little bit longer would be perfect .!!

With the dual fan chill mat I don't have to be concerned about my laptop being ruined from being overheated.

You have to have one of these if you're a chair or couch surfer while on your Mac. They cannot get hot.

Use primarily under laptop while using at desk. Helps elevate laptop a bit.

Purchased to cool off daughter's new laptop. Has had no complaints of computer overheating so far.

Good product. Just has the USB cable on the wrong side and it's not long enough to reach the other.

While I have always loved Targus products, this one let me down in that one of the fans made a ticking noise that was distracting. As it turned out, I didn't need this item as my laptop doesn't even get warm enough to be of concern. Had I still needed one, I would have given the same model a second chance. This is why I always get the added warranty.

If you have a netbook, may be okay. This pad has a very annoying tendency to rattle if it isn't in just a particular position. I would definitely recommend spending a few extra dollars and getting a slightly higher quality pad.

Good product, keeps the MacBook Pro cool so as not to fry the internal wires. Nice to rest on lap.

I've had it for about three weeks and the fan is already acting up.

not really all that happy with this pad. I have had ones less expensive that worked much better.

Bought this cooler to use with a Dell XPS M1530 15" laptop. It is terrible, don't waste your money. 1) It is too small for a 15" laptop to fit on it, even though advertised for up to 15". Maybe a netbook would fit on it, that's about all, my laptop hangs over the edges. 2) Doesn't cool. First look is impressive as it has 2 fans so you'd expect good airflow right? Well it doesn't. Tried both directions of pushing / pulling air by flipping it over, but my laptop was just as hot or maybe even hotter with the energy it was expending on the fans running. No noticable airflow could be felt even though the fans are heard running. I've had some products that I've liked from Targus, but not this one. I returned it and exchanged it for a Logitec N200, based on all the strong positive reviews on it. It cools great even with only 1 fan because it's slightly concave design is made to move air, and lives up to what folks have written about it, and it fit's 15" laptop right. Much better choice over the Targus.
