Though I was happy with the convenience and size of this product, I was very disappointed about the weakness of the fans.

My laptop tends to overheat sometimes and thought this would help. However, I notice fairly quickly that it does not cool very well and one of the four little pads that the laptop sits on has already fallen off.

This product did not cool my laptop at all. I was hard to tell if the fans were even moving. There was no air being moved. I would not recommend this item.

It was a good bargain for the price I paid; however, the noise that the fan emits is too much for me to bare. It distracts me while I try to read or do anything else. Don't waste your money...

I was hopeful for this product but it doesn't quite work as great as I thought it would. My 17 inch MacBook is a little too big for it and it doesn't work as great as I hoped for.

Using HD temp measurement software, this cooling pad had a minimal effect reducing the HD heat build up in the big laptop and worked better for a lesser laptop and HD configuration.

So I purchased this (Targus - Dual-Fan Chill Mat) in hopes of solving my over-heating dilemma on my 15" MacBook Pro. I used it for about a week with disappointing results, the dual-fan system didn't seem to produce enough cooling airflow to my laptop. As a result, my internal cooling fan inside my laptop kept working overtime with little help from this (Targus - Dual-Fan Chill Mat). In conclusion, I went back to my local Best Buy store and returned it and purchased a (Logitech Cooling Pad N200) with better and more satisfying results.

I wasn't happy w/ the fan. My laptop gets too hot for it to work. I end up giving it to my grandson. He laptop doesn't get as hot as mine. I was very disappointed w/ the fan.

My first pad of this type. Thought the double fans would make a difference. It does not. Laptop gets hotter than with the larger single fan type.

Not what we were needing. Great size, however didn't put out enough cool air to keep laptop cool.

Poor, I would not recommend this product. The good is, the laptop does not slide. The bad is, it does not keep my laptop cool enough.

While the looks of the pad was great it did not have the air flow that I had hoped for to keep the heat down. A little disappointed .

Chill Mat is rather noisy and ineffective at moving air. Actually have to hit unit to quiet it down. Spend a little more money...

I bought this to keep a 15.6 inch laptop cool and upon using it the first and checking it an 1/2 hour later it was very warm upon checking it again later it was still very warm. I hooked up the cheap x shaped one that I bought on ebay the results were amazing within a 1/2 hour the laptop was barely warm. If I could find the receipt I would return it plus it was a Black Friday deal for $9.99

Received this by mail, and was missing one of the L shaped rubbers. Returned for a different model. Seems very cheap

this chill mat is okay for the price but you can get a better one for almost the same amount...check out cooler master.

Does not do a good job keeping my laptop cool. Needs to blow more cool air, also plug-in cord could be longer.

Its an ok product for minamal use. If your onyoir laptop for long periods, buy the bigger version.
