This mat was low-priced so my expectations were not high. Overall it does a decent job, though the fans are not moving a lot of air. It is easy to use, since it plugs into a USB slot, but it would have been nice if the casing of the plug were smaller, as it makes it difficult to plug another USB device in the next slot. If your laptop only gets a little too warm, this will work. Otherwise, I'd look for a mat with stronger fans.

I have a 15 inch laptop. The saleslady said I should buy the 17" lap cooler. She was right. Matching laptop size to a same laptop cooler is to small. Even thought my cooler is working it does not sit right on my lap or a flat area. Go one size up,it will work better.

Using on a 13' Macbook Pro, it runs quietly and keeps it cool!

It does not seem to drain the laptop battery. It is so quiet that I have to check for airflow to make sure it is working. Even though the laptop I bought is a little too big for it the fans line up withe the laptops vents, it just hangs wider than the mat. It is a good product and I will see if it lasts for a good amount of time.

Works great on your lap, the cable is really long but folds into the stand nice and neat, the fans are not very loud, construction seems solid. the only downside is that it is not adjustable at all as it has no folding feet or anything like that to adjust the angle of the laptop.

Computer is fast and easy to use. Even though it was purchased for a home computer, both my wife and I use it for work purposes, too. One minor glitch occurred about a month after we purchased it but was quickly remedied by the "Geek Squad".

I am using with Mac Pro. I am using fan only when the mac is really hot. Pro: 1. Light weight. 2. When not in use USB cable stays inside. So you can carry in one hand without any issues. 3. Soft at the back so it is not hurting the lap.

I was in immediate need of a cooling pad and of the 3 available at my local Best Buy, this was the least expensive (though, not cheap at $30). Initially it worked just okay. The fans are small and not very powerful for a hot running 17” laptop. It is also surprisingly loud for such small fans. After about 1 month, the fans began making more noise and running more slowly. By the end of 2 months it had stopped working entirely. I suspect the old adage, ‘you get what you pay for’, is true. Getting ready to purchase a new cooling device and will spend a bit more to, hopefully, get a better product.

I was on vacation with my older Dell D620 laptop, and at night I wanted to dump the pictures I took during the day to the laptop, and do some quick pre-processing of them in batch mode. The post processing software was causing my laptop to overheat and turn itself off. I went to the local Best Buy near my hotel, and bought the laptop cooler, and it has worked great during the vacation, and afterwards. I choose this laptop because it had dual fans, but was still reasonably cheap.

This cooling pad has honestly worked whenever I needed it to. It sometimes is loud when it first starts, but other than that, it does exactly what i need.

This product works as stated to keep laptop cool. however, it is a little awkward to use for typing. Raises the keyboard above the desk surface.

I got it at a great price but it doesn't cool as much as I expected it to. It is basically a layer of protection against my lap and my MacBook Pro which gets pretty hot.

I find this useful especially when traveling. Inexpensive! Easy too use.

Well you get what you pay for, but this works. So is it great no, but for the price it is a good product.

Good product for the price. The dual fans work more efficiently than other cooling units I have used.

I purchased this item yesterday. It seemed to work fine. Then today, after only on my laptop for 2 hours, it overheated and shut down. The cooler also overheated! I unplugged it and tried again. The fans were no longer working! Very disappointed & am returning today.

I'm sure that having the computer raised off of a flat surface does help keep it cooler, but I'm not sure if the fans really draw the heat away. Do not plan on returning the chill matt. My Dell laptop does not emit as much heat as some other brands that my friends have, so I'll keep the matt simply to raise the laptop off the table, if nothing else.

Also it keep my computer cool on my lap. Plus it holds my computer straight in my lap.

I bought this tonight and it is doing what it says it will do this is the best product money can buy don't ever go without one cause I did and my computer got really hot and ever since I bought this tonight my computer has stayed cool go buy one
