This mat is more like a mini desk. I like to use my computer on my lap but it often got too warm. This mat provides good air flow under the computer to keep it running cool, and is light weight. My only drawback is that I haven't figured out how to run it plugged into my computer's USB port, but it works very well to provide air flow under the computer.

This mat works great on my 14'' laptop. My laptop doesn't get hot anymore thanks to this mat.

I was working on my last laptop when the battery was running low. Pluged it in and stupidly left it on for almost 4 days while I was on a trip! Fan must have given out and the unit overheated. I can feel the cool air on this! Plugs right into the USB so it is always on if the computer is on!

I purchased this item for specific reasons and it does what I want it to do. Simple as that.

On really hot summer days my laptop tends to heat up, so this come in handy. When i don't need the extra cooling it just works as a stand to slightly elevate my laptop which doesn't really make a difference. There are many similar products out there, and i just happened to choose this one. It does its job but really isnt anything special.

I wish that I had seen this item sooner. This is such a simple Lap Top stand, quiet in operation, and helps the computer.

No one told me (at another HUGE computer store) that when I purchased a laptop it is critical to keep the unit cool. I had to replace the hard drive due to overheating. Now I tell all my friends that have laptops to use a cooling fan when using the laptop on a desk.

It works pretty good! I use it when a table is not available. Very comfortable.

This was purchased for my boyfriend's mom who didn't really want a gift for Mother's Day, but had been using a baking cooling rack to put her computer on so that it did not overheat, so this worked out as a gift which she would actually use. While better than the cooling rack she was using, it seems a bit expensive for what it does.

Bought this for my wife since her laptop keeps on becoming hot. She likes it. It helps her laptop from becoming hot.

This mat really does a great job of keeping the laptop and table cooler. I've never used this before and when I saw it has fans I didn't know if they would be noisy. They are not. The mat is lightweight and slips into my computer bag along with the laptop.

Bought this for my wife's laptop. It is fairly quiet. Hardly notice when it is on. Cools the laptop, but wouldn't say that it was a huge blower. Was hoping to replace the larger external desk fan that we have running, but letting it run just to be on the safe side.

I use my computer in bed and like having the cooler to keep my laptop cool. I just wish it was a little quieter.
