i like it but wish I had purchased one with a shoulder strap

Clean black fabric, a handy front zip pocket, and tuck-a-way handles makes this a good choice for someone who wants a slim carrying case or sleeve to protect their laptop in a larger bag. However, a 14" laptop may not fit in this. Dimensions on the Targus site are: 14.50" x 11.00" x 0.87" (W x H x D). I purchased this for a laptop measuring 14.125" x 9.5" x 0.75" and it didn't fit. I assume the measurement from Targus are external and do not allow for the interior space taken by seams and padding. I returned the item to the store and was credited promptly by Best Buy. Don't expect advanced protection from drops or anything of that matter. This sleeve is basic. It does the job, providing limited padding and some scratch resistance.
