It's slim enough to put in another bag or durable enough to be used alone. I am really happy with my purchase!

I wouldn't recommend filling the side pocket with anything bulky. It will add pressure to the laptop. The carrying strap is an added bonus.

Had it been the pink I would have preferred, I may have to carry myself! What sold me on this over the others is it has the shoulder strap, while this isn't something I will use every time, it is nice to have and to be able to take off.
