It is very good and handy. It is durable and sturdy.

This is something for someone that uses their iPad to type very often however if that isn't the case you will not use it often

Great price but just too heavy for my highschooler to lug around .

I like the keyboard case but the frame of the keyboard broke within a week.

This was an awesome case for the price, or so I thought. Maybe we got a dud. The first week it worked like a charm, but after that it started falling apart. I returned it and found out that the item had been discontinued.

I bought this in Febuary of 2016 the part where the ipad is held is cracked in two places and no longer holds the ipad in place. For this price you would think ti would be more durable. I am very careful with my ipad and am extremely dissaponted in this product. I am waiting to hear from the company as its supposed to have a 2 year warranty. This is the second case I have had for this ipad and thought the targus was a better bet than the first one. Wrong.

The force(momentum) created. on the hinge was too much.

The product was great initially, but after about 2 months the hinges begin to separate and screen would fold down. I purchased a 2nd unit hoping I had a defective unit and it did the same thing. The device is not very stready after a few months of standard use.

My first broke where the top connected to the bottom I received a second one from the Targus co via the customer service department and it too broke in the same spot.... The cust service department does not return the amount spent on the item

Poor product durability--I use my iPad daily and the back has come apart from rotating.

This is a great case and keyboard. I wanted something that would have an attached keyboard (to eliminate carrying around the wireless apple keyboard) but I also wanted a case that would fold flat. The keyboard works great and it is very responsive. I have not tried charging my phone yet though. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the point of attachment and swivel feels a little flimsy. I would just watch out for that and be gentle with turning it around. But otherwise this is a great case.

Great idea, too bad its fragile as heck. Broke within 2 weeks of use. Dont buy this.

After a week from purchase case was non responsive to my iPad

Pros: - back light on keys (see con for qualifier) - easy to use - *pretty* easy to type on - swivel hinge Cons: - hinge won't hold at an angle after a few uses - very heavy - back light for keyboard goes off too quickly and is not adjustable - broke completely after one fall from the table

This is a great iPad case, very well built and solid. I have had many cases and this one is one of the best. Seems like it will offer great protection from drops. The swivel function is awesome allowing it to feel like a laptop or inverted its a nice iPad stand for facetiming etc. My only complaint is that it is a little heavy and bulky but I amwilling to put up with that. This model has the ability to charge a phone but I haven't tried that yet. Awesome case!

I like the versatility and look of this. It's a bit heavy, but I really like this. Don't hesisitate, it's worth the money. It enhances the iPad.

This keyboard case is a great concept, incorporating wonderful features found in Zagg's SlimBook. The keyboard needs work. The distance between the keys is short and the travel is so shallow that unexpected typing errors occur. The placement of the lock key makes it too easy to hit while typing; fortunately, after signing back into my iPad brings me back to where I left off. A nice feature is the Print Screen key that allows screen capture to the photo roll which, as far as I can tell, is unique to the Targus Versatype. Missing is a light on the Caps Lock key indicating when it's activated. This keyboard case is made for the iPad and the iPad Air 2; that makes it difficult to seat the iPad in the case; one basically has to seat the iPad at the bottom of the case and work the rest of the device in. Fortunately there is a protective backing on the case portion to protect the aluminum on the iPad.

Decent keyboard. Mediocre fit on iPad Air. A little heavy. Love the swivel.

This item was very solid with the build and the design and I love how it can reversailbe so it can turn around and inside out so it can lay flat.

good case, wants a more fancy case, but didn't want to pay anymore
