Yes they're expensive, but I like the swivel ability and how it looks. I think it's worth the price. Based on some reviews I was worried about being able to access the buttons but it works just fine.

It should have a magnetic catch to help hold the iPad in place. Instead, it simply relies on grooves to hold the tablet at the desired angle. If the case is at any angle or you're using it on your lap, it will occasionally slip out of the grooves and collapse. If you're just using it on a flat surface, it's not an issue. The other minor annoyance is that the clasp just sort of flaps about when it's open. There's a groove you can tuck it into but it doesn't stay very well. Otherwise, the build quality is quite nice. The cover material feels premium and the molded tray is snug. The rotating feature is quite nice.

That said, if a Keyboard case is important to you, the Apple Magic Keyboard is second to none.
