My review may not be totally fair since I'm challenged in utilizing the various features. However, the picture is nice, and it was easy to setup. Looking forward to becoming more informed.

I actually liked the tv Has a nice picture. 4k movies arent to bad on it.I like the Dolby vision feature and for the price you can’t go wrong with that. Sound isn’t to bad. Gaming on it actually is pretty good. Reason for the 2 star is bc I had 2 tv’s within a 3 week period that the panel went out so I unfortunately had to switch to a different tv I understand sometimes that happens. If that wouldn’t have happened I would have kept the tv. I had it for a bedroom tv.

My second TCL TV. The first was only a 32 inch, but this new 43 inch has a better picture quality and sound. Coming with Roku makes it so easy to set up with wi-fi and streaming chanels. Recommend for anyone looking for this size of TV.

I was not sure about going with a TCL tv but no longer. Matter of fact I have bought two now. The Roku function was what lead me to look at this TV and I am impressed. I would but this is you are looking for a great value.

Replacing a cheap Samsung 32 inch, we wanted something bigger and brighter, and this is perfect for our setup. I actually had to turn down the brightness a bit, but no problems there. And my son loves playing it on our old Xbox One as well. Standard Roku interface, so no problems there. The only negative would be on the Roku end, not the hardware itself, since Roku has taken away some our most used apps. (like Twitch - there is no more official Twitch app on Roku, and we watch a lot of Twitch in our house) The TV is great for the price... it came down to this and the Vizio V Series, and we are happy with the purchase.

Very easy to set up. I bought a sound bar as the sound isn't that good by itself. Color and picture is good. I am very pleased with it and I didn't have to spend a fortune.

I bought this because we still had a very old , heavy TV. I have wanted this for awhile. After getting recommendations from a very knowledgeable friend, I chose this. It is perfect. The picture is clear, the colors crisp and bright.

This is my first TCL tv. I purchased the 43 inch which is a prefect size for my bedroom. It play’s really good and I hooked it up to my sound bar. I love Roko and it’s easy to use. I would recommend to anyone

I bought this after having owned a 50" TCL 4k and this is actually a step up picture wise as its a newer model (5 series) You can not go wrong with this TV for $300, its a crazy amount of value. The BIGGEST benefit to this TV is the fact it is a Roku TV and you can download just about any app there is as opposed to most manufacturers have limited app availability. I have a $2000 LG OLED TV as my main TV in the living room and I can't get apps for a lot of the things I watch on that (see HBO MAX) but TCL and Roku I have yet to try to find an app and not find it. Picture quality on this thing is amazing, not quite up to the OLED standards but its also 1/5th the price. Wireless network ability is seamless and the small but effective remote is also very nice for a bedroom TV.

I love TCL. I have two of their products. Not as good as the big boys obviously, but for the price, the value is much better. Blacks are good, good default sound. HDR etc. Colors could be better but for budget panel, not upset at all.

Just got mine, and finished the initial set up process. The TV is solid. Colors are on par or better than my Samsung QLED. Motion is smooth w/o soap opera effect. Price was decent and the quality appears good. I couldn't find a motion setting adjustment- not saying it's not there, just couldn't find it. I knocked a star off because it's not very bright. I was prepared for this based on reviews (professional and amateur) and it's far from a deal-breaker. We're considering buying another one for our spare room/2nd home office. ***PRO TIP- the barcode on the screen is on a plastic film that peels off in in the most satisfying way :)

We purchased this TV to make sure we could use all apps easily. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome quality of the picture and sound. It is also the easiest tv I have ever used with apps. I recommend to anyone!

I am shocked at how awesome the picture quality is for this t.v. and the price is even better. I bought this for my bedroom and I may need to upgrade my living room TV which is a samsung Oled to a newer model TCL

I like the size because it a little taller than most and was able to put in tv cabnet . Also like that it had Roku all ready and that every time I have contact them with a question has answered back. .

Great TV and the Dolby Vision is amazing! Great picture and looks fantastic. Was pretty surprised with how well it operates. I'll be buying TCL from now one. I do wish they had an 85 inch screen though.

Image is great, sound is good, the built in roku is good, but I think the processor has a hard time keeping up with some roku apps. Netflix is the worst when it slows down and hangs, and some others occasionally have fits that crash the software and the display takes a few seconds to bounce you out to the menu. I am using this as a computer monitor also in my office and games look very good at 4k 60hz, but the driver defaulted to 30hz, so make sure you check your display options! Nice and light, so hanging on the wall was cake. Just taking off a star for the roku app crashes...

So I have the TV hooked up to an Xbox One X which make sure in the settings on your tv under tv inputs go to options... choose hdmi 2.0... gets you the best picture... also in the tv settings if not automatically done make sure to set to gaming mode. For gaming this TV is wonderful.. My PC same deal as above... you may have to play with the gamma settings to find your liking.. also I will confirm viewing angles can be difficult at times... overall not bad enough to give a horrible review... for safety sake I purchased the 2 year geek squad replacement plan. The bezel feels very much that of a cell phone... Amazing picture for 299. Finally make sure you get the latest model... I think the s525 better picture... auto game mode... better bezel.

We needed a television in the 40-43 inch size to fit into our family room alcove. I read review after review regarding picture quality, sound, ability to view in different light levels, and from different angles. We weren't focused solely on a Roku set, but finally chose the TCL based on the reviews, price, and functions. It was an outstanding choice in every regard. We did add the TCL sound bar for movies and music, though we probably would have been fine without it. The volume and sound were fine for us, prior to receiving and installing the sound bar. The reviewers got this one right.

This is our second TCL. We got a big one (70") for the living room and we absolutely love it. When we decided to get a TV for our deck, we got a smaller, 43". Love it as well. The built-in Roku is so convenient.
