An all around great budget tv. Easy to set up and use. Great picture quality but may take some tinkering with settings to get it the way you prefer

Super nice T V I bought it for my toy hauler it works great on an antenna easy to scan and load channels were ever you go Great purchase!!!

There's no lag in the menus. The navigation is intuitive (mostly). The remote feels good in the hand if you're a righty. Oh, and the picture is decent. That's the only thing keeping me from giving it a fifth star. That does't mean the picture quality is poor. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given it four. Disregard the nickname I gave myself. That was for a different TV, and now I can't seem to change it.

Almost spent a lot of money on new tv. Will wait for nice house before I break the bank on expensive tv. Great picture easy to use can’t beat the price

We were looking for a smart TV and had seen an amazing TV at a friends house. We called them and asked them what brand it was. We were told it was a TCL, and they now owned a second one. We were unsure because we had never heard of it, but , after some research, we decided to try it out. Pretty glad we did. We live in CA, and my relative lives in NE and she asked what brand we decided on and when we told her, she said her in-laws told her to get that brand, but, they went with another brand. Now she wishes she had got this one too.

I have a PS4 Pro and Xbox one X. This TV does HDR well enough for the price and has surprisingly low input lag. The picture is great and the TV works well.

This is now my 4th TCL tv. I've had a standard when TCL first originated, a series 4, a series 6, and now the series 5. The series 5 is extremely comparable to the series 6. Dolby vision and the wider color is a serious step up from a series 4 and it's visible in every shot. Roku is simple and easy to use (and that comes from an apple fan). The 4k content/apps available is vast and looks great. You cannot turn off the high frame rate (at least that I've found while in HDR content). It's not full on soap opera, but it's definitely not 24fps. Seems to be a solid 60fps

Works great as a backyard TV. Good picture for the price and having the Roku interface makes it easy to use.

I came from a couple of 3 series TCL tv’s that were ok but this one just blew me away for the price and for the wonderful picture quality. Very happy

We have a TV cabinet in our living room that housed a 32" TV. This television was old and too small to be seen from the kitchen. I wanted to replace it with a larger television that would still fit in the cabinet and be closed in when not in use. This was the only one that would fit and the picture is also perfect! We are very happy!

Got this item for my Husband's office. He wanted a Roku streaming device for our Den TV. I was already overwhelmed by all the features on the Den TV. Did not need any more complexity. He researched the issue and found that there are TVs with Roku already installed. Checked price points and selected accordingly. He bought a set of wireless speakers, but either the TV or the speakers are not working. He's happy!

got this tv for our bedroom and it has a surprising great picture!! the Roku works great and the HDR works pretty good !! crystal clear picture !!!

Simple remote, roku sucks, but picture quality is the best for the price. Great gaming tv for your game room.

I had a higher end Sony a few years ago that died after 2 years. I was buying parts from someone who steered me to a 58" sharp (Hisense made at the time) for $380. This 43" TCL roku is even better than that one, It's picture is better than the 55" TCL 4 series Roku in my bedroom. I bought it to be a 2nd monitor for my just built gaming PC .. reviews say it will work fine for 4k gaming. I have no doubt. It's wonderful. Oh and that 58" Sharp has as good a picture as my dead Sony!.. TCL series 4 was better. This 299$ beats them all.

I love my new TV, I wanted a smart TV to stream sling and Netflix. It's a great TV for the price. I love it!!! It's very easy to setup and use.
